Conditional sentences: sociolinguistic factors of deviations from the norm
Vinarčíková, Jana ; Čermák, Petr (advisor) ; Kratochvílová, Dana (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to describe the form and the meaning of Spanish conditional sentences. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part we define basic terms and introduce 3 types of conditional sentences. We also try to clarify the use of the verbal modes and tenses and to describe what they express from the semantic point of view. Then we describe the use of non-normative forms of conditional sentences and we focuse on the non-normative use of the conditional instead of the subjunctive. The theoretical part is followed by the practical part, in which we analyse conditional conjunctions via parallel language corpus InterCorp. The aim of this analysis is to characterize chosen conditional conjunctions from their specific and practical point of view. Key words: conditional sentences, Spanish, norm, deviations from the norm, conditional conjunctions, corpus, InterCorp

Expression of Conditional Relations in Contemporary Spanish.
STRMEŇOVÁ, Radka
In this final thesis, we are primarily concerned with an expression of conditional relations in contemporary Spanish with emphasis placed mainly on conjunctions and conjunctive phrases in conditional clauses. The aim of the thesis is to examine the frequency of use of conjunctions and conjunctive phrases in conditional clauses, and use of verb tenses and moods in such sentences. To achieve this goal, the work is divided into two sections, theoretical and practical. In the first, theoretical section, we focus on studying this problem from the perspective of selected authors from both Czech and Spanish linguistic community. In the subsequent, practical section, the set goal is achieved by analysis of journalistic texts, the results of which we will compare with the theoretical knowledge described in the first section. In the conclusion we again summarize the results of our study, which are supplemented by résumé in Spanish language.
Expression of Condition in the French texts of the European Law in comparison with the Czech equivalents (EurLex)
VOLDÁNOVÁ, Renata
The theme of this thesis is the expression of conditional clauses in the French version of European legistative texts in comparison with the equivalent expressions in the Czech language. The first part is focused on different types of conditional sentences in the French and Czech language. The second part deals with conditional clauses in the French version of chosen European legislative texts. Using Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro Extended I selected sentences with chosen lexical collocations used in French language to connect a subordinate conditional clause to the main sentence. Then I found selected sentences in the Czech version of the chosen European legistaltive texts. Finally all chosen sentences and their translations were analyzed and compared.
