Mortars with Alternative Materials
Kozielová, Silvie ; Sokola, Lubomír (referee) ; Žižková, Nikol (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with building material mortar. These are mainly the use of waste materials from industry to replace part of the filler or binder to produce mortar. The theoretical part deals with information about the classification and properties of mortar on their ingredients and methods of use. Collectively describes alternative raw materials suitable for use in mortar production and trends of our time for its production. The practical part is focused precisely on the use of alternative raw materials to replace part of the filler or binder to produce mortar. Evaluated and compared with the properties achieved by the mortar with the selected raw materials waste.
Influence of hydration accelerators on zinc - doped cement mortars
Beneš, Pavel ; Šilerová, Iva (referee) ; Šiler, Pavel (advisor)
This work deals with monitoring the hydration of cement mortars and cement pastes made from CEM I 42.5 R cement doped with zinc oxide in an amount of 1 % wt. To eliminate the delay in the onset of hydration due to the presence of zinc oxide, the following accelerators were added to the cement mixtures in different proportions: calcium oxide, formic acids and calcium formate. Hydration was monitored using isoperibolic calorimetry. Furthermore, the mechanical properties of mixtures were investigated, namely the tensile strength after bending and the compressive strength after 7 days and after 28 days. The cement mortars were further subjected to additional analyses, such as porosimetry, DTA/TG and SEM.
Chemical-mineralogical analysis of historic renders of the chateau complex Cítoliby
Frankeová, Dita ; Hauková, Petra ; Petráňová, Veronika ; Krejčí, Jan
The study deals with the condition of the historical plaster of the fence-barrier walls of the former castle complex. An analysis of eight samples (6x mortar, 2 stone) was performed to determine the quality of the plaster binder and determine the degree of salination.
