Klikov Formation in a newly localized landslide area near České Budějovice
Pilařová, Eliška ; Jerman, Jan (advisor) ; Mužík, Vlastimil (referee)
Diploma thesis is focused on obtaining new knowledge about the Klikov Formation of the České Budějovice Tertiary Basin during the extraordinary opportunity of construction a section of the D3 highway at the southern edge of České Budějovice near the villages of Roudné and Včelná. The location is also interesting because of newly detected landslide. The route of the highway is designed in large side-hill cut. The cut reached a total height of up to 20 m and was mainly carried out in the soft rock of the Klikov Formation, while vertical rock slopes up to several meters high remained without any stabilization during excavation. This made it possible to examine the soft rock of Klikov Formation in various aspects, e.g. stability, structural properties, properties of the rock material itself, etc. The text is divided into two parts. The first part describes construction works during the excavation of side cut, and the second to laboratory tests. The diploma thesis presents the connection between field observation and laboratory results.
Sulphidic mineralization in the vicinity of the Bílina fault
Markes, Jan ; Zachariáš, Jiří (advisor) ; Goliáš, Viktor (referee)
The neoidic sulphide mineralization located in tertiary sediments of Lom Bílina in Bílina's fault is of hydrothermal origin. The sulphidic mineralization is associated with fault systems of Eger rift and temperature of fluid crystallization was about 50řC. The mineralization of Bílina's fault is rather monotonous, the marcasite and pyrite is mostly found without a trace elements. In the crystals were also registered zones with the contents of trace elements, especially As and Ni. The contents of As enriched precipitation zones were fluctuating from 0,2 to 5,4 wt. %, Ni enriched zones were ranged from 1,6 to 5,9 wt. %. The precipitation zones with increased As and Ni content were very thin, there were very short time intervals of As and Ni enriched fluids precipitation. In the marcasite crystals were also found the porous zones of clay mineral microinclusions. These zones showed higher content of Al and Si. There is high abundance of Fe-disulfides at Bílina's fault-dispersed in coal bed, or bonded to tectonic zone of the Bílina's fault. Pyrite and marcasite are dispersed in the coal bed and genetially aren't related to sulphides bonded to Bílina's fault.
Analysis of approaches to strategic management in tertiary education
Kadleček, Václav ; Paulovčáková, Lucie (advisor) ; Šafránková, Jana Marie (referee)
The subject of the diploma thesis titled Analysis of approaches to strategic management in tertiary education is the analysis of approaches from the point of view of national and international strategies and also from the point of view of universities themselves. The thesis contains theoretical background, theoretical resources of the issue concerned focusing on strategic management in general and in concept of tertiary education. The theoretical part also presents the history of tertiary education from the first Czechoslovak Republic to the present form of tertiary education in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The bases for the researched issue, ie. the approach to strategic management in the field of tertiary education, are represented by conceptual documents focusing on the strategy and development of tertiary education in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic, the attention is also focused on the tendencies within Bologna process. The outputs of the IPN KREDO project were used, which dealt with the strategy of the development of tertiary education until 2030 in connection with the elaboration of strategic plans for the development of universities for the given period. Development documents at the level of selected universities in the Czech and Slovak Republics also constitute the resources...

Grounwater regime of the Cheb Basin
Walter, Dominik ; Datel, Josef (advisor) ; Hrkal, Zbyněk (referee)
This study summarizes some general findings of geological, hydrogeological, hydrological, structural and other conditions of the Cheb tertiary basin and descrides how these conditions are connected with circulation of graoundwaters and with appearance of mineral waters of different chemical composition and appearance of discharge of dry CO2. The final chapter shows information of changes of groundwater level at specific locations and periods of time by analyzing data gathered from borehole monitoring site of Czech Hydrometeorological Institute. Measuring of groundwater level was taken every day or every week, also average data of every month were taken. These data show variant changes of groundwater level which can be associated with definite events and this study shows if it is possible to associate some changes of groundwater level with exact events.
Secondary Prevention of Socially Pathological Phenomena
VANĚČKOVÁ, Iveta
In exordium of thesis I am engaged in the explanation of the conception of socially pathological phenomena and in the diagnosis of this conception into the social pathology and then I describe some of these significant negative and dangerous phenomena, which threaten the youth, too. Mainly I target violent phenomena and dependencies. Subsequently I am resolving the problem of primary, secondary and tertiary prevention, too. I am writing especially about different recommendations and measures, how not to need occur the prevention, especially the tertiary prevention. Next I target the secondary prevention especially the prevention of violent phenomena and dependencies. In conclusion I am focusing on Salesian youth centre - centre of children and youth in České Budějovice and shortly I describe activities of these centre with an eye on the pursuance or the realization of the secondary prevention not to occur the origin or the expansion of socially pathological phenomena.
