Falšované potraviny a způsoby jejich detekce

This thesis explores the topic of food adulteration and the methods used to detect it, including the legislative requirements for different commodities. Commonly adulterated foods include meat and meat products, milk and dairy products, fats and edible oils, cocoa and chocolate, wine and spirits, honey, and coffee. Techniques such as PCR, gas and liquid chromatography, infrared and Raman spectroscopy are commonly used to detect counterfeit foods. Additionally, this paper presents the results of food adulteration detected by the State Agricultural and Food Inspection Service between 2018 and 2022. A total of 451 adulterated foods were identified, with wine, meat and meat products, and food supplements being the most frequently affected categories.

The topic of this thesis „Amendment of viniculture and viticulture law and its effect on selling the tapped wine in practice“ sets a goal to evaluate the changes of viniculture and viticulture legislation, which follows from the amendment of viniculture and viticulture law. The amendment came into force on 1st April 2017. The thesis conducts a survey of actual level of viniculture and viticulture legislation in European Union and in the Czech Republic. The thesis is then pointed at the amendment of viniculture and viticulture law in details, it deals with analysis of effects on selling tapped wine and it suggests the reccomendation for practice. In the practical part the thesis brings the results of survey, which was taken place in wine shops.
Control activity of selected supervisory authorities operating in the field of consumer protection

The aim of the thesis is to evaluate control activities of selected supervisory authorities in a sphere of consumer protection and to find the opinions and attitudes of selected business entities on supervisory authorities' activities. The thesis includes a questionnaire survey among consumers and controlled in-depth interviews both with business entities and with supervisory authorities. The questionnaire survey confirms or rejects hypotheses of the thesis. Controlled in-depth interviews with selected supervisory authorities focused on their controlling activities. Managed in-depth interviews with business entities aimed to find out their views and attitudes towards supervisory authorities, as well as to identify a scope and a process of controls carried out by supervisory authorities. The thesis further outline how the selected supervisory authorities could evaluate their work with consumers. Changes are mainly concerned with informing consumers of suitable and unsuitable business premises.

The Food Safety and Quality Control System in Czech RepublicThe thesis describes the way how is the food safety control and quality protection provided in Czech republic. There is the law definition of the all forms of food during the food production chain from the primary production up to sale to the consumer in the work. The thesis focuses on the requirements laid down in the Czech and European food law on the food producers and sellers. The thesis also deals with the food contamination and quality aspects - nutrition value and quality branding. There is also chapter about the quality management system certification and chapter about the current cases related with the safe food area in the Czech republic in 2012 (Methanol, Polish technical salt and horse lasagne).
