The present Master thesis is focused on innovation and verification of the functionality of a 3D RepRap. The theoretical part of the thesis characterizes individual additive technologies. The practical part is focused on the design of the technical modifications of the printer in order to achieve the quality of the printing, while the current 3D printer design is compared with the innovative solution. The Master's thesis 'Visual representation of migrant crisis in Czech printed media' examines how certain czech newspapers informed about migrant crisis. The first part of the thesis introduces the core theoretical concepts, that serve as a basis for the analysis. Furthermore it includes a brief overview of the events linked to the migrant crisis. The analytical part presents the method of content picture analysis. Part of thesis named 'research results' offers a comparison of different approaches of individual newspapers, namely Deník, Mladá fronta DNES, Hospodářské noviny and Právo, towards the publication of photographs about migration crisis. The last chapter evaluates the results and findings of this research
