In the theorecical part,the notions adolescence, gender, single life, planned parenthood and sexual education were explained together with a brief overview of contraceptive methods. Also, the motherhood, the father's role,the mother's role, the family and the parenthood were clarified. In the empirical part, I surveyed the knowledge of the contrateption and the planned parenthood with the students of a grammar school and of a secondary school. I searched for their knowledge of Postcoital contraception as well as of the termination of pregnancy. I also surveyed who is more informed, whether boys or girls.

Medicine and laboratory techniques development is moving very fast. This raises the question to what extent the available tests and techniques can affect psyche of pregnant women. The bachelor's thesis is focused on awareness of pregnant women regarding screening tests in pregnancy. Furthermore, it deals with areas of life which are most affected by prenatal diagnosis. The thesis compares quality of life between healthy, pregnant women and pregnant women with a genetic load.

Eva Vachková Number of pages: 101 Number of appendixes: 6 Year of plea: 2011 Key words: cesarean section, general anaesthesia, regional anaesthesia, satisfaction The patients satisfaction is one of the key factors that influence the shaping of public opinion on the general healthcare system. The goal of the bachelor's thesis is to compare the level of satisfaction among women undergoing elective caesarian section under general or regional anesthesia. Research conducted a questionnaire survey of patients in the HDU of Gynaecology and Obstetrics in Regional Hospital Kolin, a.s. The sample consisted of 50 women, 30 of them underwent an elective caesarian section under regional anesthesia and 20 women under general anesthesia. Other parameters were observed belong relationship among satisfaction and preoperative anxiety, the level of awareness of the possibilities of anesthesia, the level of postoperative pain and satisfaction of postoperative care in HDU.

Application of marketing at the private eye clinic

The goal of this Bachelor's thesis was to research how the marketing is realized in private health care institutions, concretely at the private eye clinic VISUS, spol. s.r.o. The theoretical part decribes basic principles of the health service marketing, marketing mix and individual instruments of marketing mix. The practical part is focused on applying of individual instruments of marketing mix on the eye clinic VISUS, spol. s.r.o. A part of the thesis is a questionnaire research, which was realized at the department of the eye clinic VISUS, spol. s.r.o. in Nachod. The goal of the research was to find out from where patients know about the clinic, why they chose it, for how long they are undergoing the medical treatment at the clinic and what they would recommend to improve the clinic. The final part contains the evaluation of the clinic and recommendations for changes. In the annex there is included a draft brochure for the clinic, which can be used for its publicity.
