Bláža, Lukáš ; Zahálka, František (advisor) ; Buzek, Mario (referee)
Title: Selected parameters of fitness assesment of elite young soccer players Objectives: This work identifies selected parameters of the fitness readiness of young elite soccer players. Additionally, we describe terrain motor tests focusing on the metrics of speed, dexterity, and agility, amongst others. Finally, we describe the results of the tests and analyze the speed capabilities and individual indicators by using the motor terrain tests. Methods: Subjects were studied using field testing specific to soccer. Participants were elite soccer players under 16 years old who were in the national selection. The subjects attended a measurement at national level with artificial grass, the standard playing conditions. We investigated the speed capabilities of each player, followed by a statistical evaluation of the results using computer programs. Results: The individuals tested showed very good condition parameters, forming a homogeneous assemblage. An analysis of the players' motor test performances determined their speed abilities. It was found that at single speeds in various sections of a run, which the players achieve during a twenty meter run, the curve of acceleration rises and plateaus as they start to maintain their speed. Spasm of pelvic floor muscles as a cause of its dysfunction
Hurt, Karel ; Zahálka, František (advisor) ; Martan, Alois (referee) ; Otčenášek, Michal (referee)
Background: Currently, there are no effective therapy strategies for idiopathic, non-organic vulvodynia and dyspareunia in women. ESWT (extracorporeal shock wave therapy) is a nonsurgical/noninvasive technique widely used to treat musculoskeletal diseases, muscle spasticity, hypertonia, renal, biliary calculi and urological disorders. Aim: The goal of our work is to investigate the possibility to eliminate chronic and acute forms of pelvic pain by a non-invasive physical method. We wanted to know if the extracorporeal shock wave technique could fulfill these requirements. Study design: The prospective, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled studies were conducted following feasibility studies. Methods: The study 1. included 62 women with vulvodynia for at least 3 months. The women were randomly assigned to either a treatment group (n=31) or a placebo group (n=31). The patients in the treatment group received perineally applied ESWT weekly (3000 pulses each for four consecutive weeks). The position of the shock wave transducer was changed six times after every 500 pulses. Patients in the placebo group underwent the same treatment procedure, but the handpiece was provided with a placebo stand-off that disabled energy transmission. Subjective pain was evaluated by a visual analogue scale (VAS,...

Hynková, Simona ; Grünerová Lippertová, Marcela (advisor) ; Zahálka, František (referee)
This bachelor's thesis focuses on the rehabilitation of patients after the Covid-19 disease. The patients were part of a rehabilitation programme at the clinic of rehabilitation at University Hospital Královské Vinohrady, where they underwent intensive therapy for up to 2-3 weeks. The aim of this bachelor's thesis was to determine the efficacy of the therapy in all patients, but also the differences between patients according to the diseases they had associated. Methods: For 13 selected patients after undergoing covid-19, the data were collected data on their health using anamnestic data in the medical documentation and Covid-19 Mental Health Questionaire (CoPaQ) questionnaire. Using the data, there were selected the most frequently occurring diseases and complications by which the effectiveness of the therapy was evaluated. Motor skills, self-sufficiency and shortness of breath were assessed in the clinic according to standardised tests, which are as follows: saturation, a Berg balance scale, a Barthel index, a Borg scale, a modified functional self-sufficiency test, and an Expanded Barthel Index, which was not included in the specific results because it barely changed. Results: A Wilcoxon paired t-test was performed in assessing the effectiveness of rehabilitation in total, rather than...
The effect of kinesiotaping for flat foot correction in association with selected parameters of gait for a specific group of people
Michalcová, Eliška ; Zahálka, František (advisor) ; Heller, Jan (referee)
Title: The effect of kinesiotaping for flat foot correction in association with selected parameters of gait for a specific group of people Objectives: The primary objective of this experiment was to determine whether and to what extent the application of kinesio tape to flat foot (utilising a functional correction technique) can influence the positioning of the specific segments of the body and thereby implement change to walking stereotype. Methods: Biomechanical measurement of the gait of eleven specifically selected people with the clinical symptoms of flat foot was implemented. First we recorded measurements prior to the intervention and then again, subsequent to the application of kinesio tape for a defined period. Probands retained the tape in place for the following four days and then the measuring was repeated both prior and subsequent to the removal of the tape. To determine any potential changes to the statics, initially the measuring of the postural stability prior to the intervention was first implemented in the experiment and subsequently again when the kinesio tape was removed after it had been worn for four days. This measurement was carried out using the Footscan apparatus (RSscan International, Belgium) and any potential differences in six variant modes of posture were determined....
