The diploma thesis Art as a means of prevention and correction of dysgraphia in the environment of the 1st stage of primary school represents a connection of special pedagogy with art education in the environment of a primary school. The diploma thesis also presents intervention material to examine the effectiveness of the development of fine motor skills, visual-motor coordination, concentration of attention and visual imagination. The aim of the work is to offer an insight into the theory of specific learning disabilities, to present the author's intervention material as a possibility of initial pedagogical diagnostics, development and correction in the field of special educational needs as a whole with the help of art education.
