Spatial data analysis utilization for intensity survey of the Lipno region

The purpose of the work was to analyze contemporary situation of travel trade and suggest further possibilities of development. The Lipno region is a country whose strenght is in nature. Genius loci of the region reside exactly in variety and diversity of the landscape with treasury of nature sanctuaries and cultural sights. The way of tis work is concerned of the region which is created by 14 cadastral units. Main aims of this work are to analyze Lipensko regarding to he tourism and to make a suggestion of new turist product. Before analysis of tourism and its intensity was needed to point out the focused region. Next step was to make analysis of ths region by literature, by software ArcMAP and its Spatial Tools and by questionary survey.
Foreign exchange risk management in an international company

The growth of the international business offers the chance for companies to enter new markets in order to increase their revenues. The transactions in foreign currencies are influenced by the impacts of the volatility of the exchange rates in the sense that an unfavorable evolution of the exchange rates can result in a considerable loss. The main aim of this thesis is to analyze the process, the strategy and the overall importance of the management of the foreign exchange risk in the context of an international company. The theoretical part introduces foreign exchange rates, three types of the foreign exchange risks and it further focuses on the basic techniques used for measuring the risk and the methods for its management. The practical part focuses not only on the foreign exchange risk management for the company's global level, but also on providing a detailed analysis of the foreign exchange impact on its three subsidiaries.
Analysis of smoking regulations in the hospitality industry with a focus on chosen countries of the EU

This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of smoking bans in public places. It is a controversial subject that sparks debate on whether smoking regulations are beneficial and if this trend should be replicated in other countries. The aim of this thesis is to characterize the current state of smoking in the world and the EU and to evaluate the attitude towards the introduction of smoking regulations in public spaces, with a focus on hospitality industries in different countries. This evaluation is determined from studies conducted by the EU and other global institutions involved with this matter. Thanks to the studies undertaken in different countries, the economic, health and social impacts of smoking bans have been analyzed. These findings will serve to predict the possible effect of an introduction of smoking bans in bars and restaurants in the Czech Republic.
