Suggestion of technology for a food machine dosing component

This bachelor's thesis deals with the design of production technology for the potential production order of the company. Following the manufacturing drawing, the component has a complex shape and serves as a dosing component in food processing machinery. The material of the machined component is a corrosion-resistant martensitic steel X17CrNi16-2 according to EN 10088-3. A semi-finished product was selected, and the design of the technological aspect of the component was assessed. Furthermore, a main technological procedure with a modern machining centre and a variant technological procedure was designed for the machining centre's inability to machine the component. The design included the selection of machines, tools, gauges, and a detailed manufacturing procedure with cutting conditions. An NC program was created for the main technological procedure. The designed technological procedures were evaluated from a technical and economic perspective.

This bachelor thesis deals with analysis and identification of tread tracks created by vehicle tire impression. In the theoretical part of this thesis essential criminal procedures for locating, documenting and obtaining tread tracks evidence at the crime scene are described. Existing software solutions for documenting and comparing such tracks are mentioned. The practical part of the thesis presents a Python-language application in which can be tire figures in an imprint coded and based on this code can be searched a specific type of tire that did the imprint. As next are done experiments with neural networks for automatic evaluation of tyre type as well as automatic evaluation of its features. The created solution is tested on real treads from crimes and evaluated by doing interviews with crime experts in field of footprints and tires.
