Graphic Design of 55th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival (KVIFF)

Karlovy Vary International Film Festival is one of the most important cultural events in our country and in Europe. Every year, it attracts the attention of filmmakers, celebrities, fans and journalists. Each year dozens of texts are written about the event. The 55th KVIFF was unusual. The date of the event was twice postponed due to coronavirus pandemic. The preparations were complicated for the organizers and the festival took place more than a year later. Because of this, the festival was given even more attention. This bachelor thesis deals with the 55th KVIFF. The theoretical part focuses on the media image of the festival. I map its preparations, the course of nine festival days and the subsequent responses and reverberations after the end of the festival. In the practical part I focus on the visual appearance of the festival. The aim of this part of the work was to create graphic design of the 55th KVIFF. I focus on creating posters, which are the main visuals of the festival. Subsequently, I complete the portfolio with festival passes and merchandising.

Title: Case study of physiotherapeutic care of a patient with diagnosis of status after distal femur reosteosynthesis due to the knee joint valgus Aims: The aim of this Bachelor thesis has been to treat the case study of a patient after distal femur reosteosynthesis and to prepare a theoretical basis for this issue with the help of findings from specialized publications. Summary: This Bachelor thesis is divided into two parts. The first, general part follows theoretical findings about anatomy and physiology of the knee joint, its axial deformities, reasons for their genesis and their operational and conservative treatment. At the end of the first part, physiotherapeutic methods that can be used after distal femur osteosynthesis are described. Second, specialized part contains the case study of physiotherapeutic care of a patient with diagnosis of status after distal femur reosteosynthesis due to the knee joint valgus, including the therapy results evaluation. Duration of syllabic liquids in Czech

This thesis brings basic data on duration of syllabic liquids r and l in Czech. The experiment measured the duration of syllabic and non-syllabic liquid consonants occuring in 3 stress group positions and short vowels in 2 positions; the sounds were isolated from utterances of 6 native speakers of Czech. Apart from this, the experiment also measured the syllabic liquids length on the basis of complementary utterances of 5 radio speakers. The total amount of the measured sounds was 852.
