Social security insurance and the impact on the pension system

Nowadays the issue of social policy is the subject of extensive discussions. This inlcude not only the EU Meber States, some fundamental changes interfere in its operation. The main aim of my work is to highlight the strengths and weaknesses of the pension system, the basic pillar of the interim financing in relation to Social Security retirees, as an expression of state social policy in relation to how social security premiums, and other factors influence the Czech pension system and what I would propose for solutions.
Financing mechanisms of universities in the Czech Republic and the Netherlands

The Master thesis is focused on the financing mechanisms of universities. The aim of this thesis is to compare higher education systems in the Czech Republic and the Netherlands, including their funding mechanisms and to suggest recommendations for the Czech Republic ensue from the comparison. The Master thesis is divided into three chapters.
The state support of the building savings

In this diploma thesis I have dealt with the description of the most significant public expenditures, mandatory expenditures. I have focused on building savings, the state support for building savings and the profitableness of building savings as a whole. In the first part of the work, different types of public expenditures are defined and categorized; you may also find there a definition of mandatory expenditures. This section also contains the historical development of building savings to the current form and the development of the basic indicators of building savings in the Czech Republic. Another part is devoted to legislative regulation of building savings; this section also contains the development of the state support and its impact on the state budget. The third, analytical part contains an analysis of microeconomic benefits and macroeconomic consequences for the economy. In this part I analyze the profitability of the savings phase and the cost of credit phase of the building savings, compared with the selected alternative products. At the end of this chapter I will try to offer a picture of the possible forms of the building savings in the future.
State contribution to building savings

This bachelor thesis examines how state supports the building savings in Czech Republic. Because of the fact, that state expenditures on this support are part of public expenditures, in the first part I focus on its characteristic and division. Then I continue more specific in description of mandatory expenditures. I describe its structure and analyse its development in years from 2000 to 2013. In the second part I deal with construction, development of state support on the basis of legislative changes which occured during this years of application this product on the Czech market. The last part of my thesis is dedicated to analysis of possible changes in building savings and its impact on state budget and on the whole system of this field.
The methods and possibilities of financing sporting activities from public budget

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to investigate how sport is financed from the Czech Republic's public budget, focusing on Votice. The analysis contains case study in detail which combines sport and Votice. It is possible to see financial aid of sporting activities in recent years and proposals for future improvement of the current situation.
Secondary education in Czech Republic and comparison between public and private forms of financing

This bachelor project is divided into three main chapters. First aims on development of secondary education in Czech Republic. Second part should provide information about secondary educational system, types of schools, types of founders and the way the schools are financed. Last chapter contains comparative analysis of funding two grammar schools in Prague. Namely public grammar school Špitálská and private Austrian grammar school.
Instruments for Private Higher Education Financing

The main objective of the dissertation is to evaluate and compare higher education financing instruments in regard to their practical advantageousness. None of the publications covering higher education financing so far have dealt with the question of practicability and market acceptance of the different higher education financing instruments currently being offered. The author intended to close this gap, providing a practical analysis of the mode of operation as well as a thorough comparison of private higher education financing instruments in respect to their applicability.
Analysis of mandatory spending focusing on pension reform

The thesis is focus on problems of increasing ratio of mandatory spending and total spending of state budget when I apply my mind to statutory mandatory spending which contains social transfers (especially benefits of pension insurance). I apply my mind to development of mandatory spending, retirement system and prepared retirement reform in individual parts of the thesis. Within retirement reform I am concerned with approved changes, basic parameters of retirement reform and I characterize newly established second pillar of retirement system. I focus on II. pillar in detail and I analyze how many people (especially employees) are going to probably join the II. pillar. When I practice the analysis I respect basic facts and conditons of joining the II. pillar and I take into account various recommendations of that. In closing I also calculate which impact the joining the II. pillar have on revenue part of state budget.
The return on investment within higher education according to country of origin

This thesis explores return on investment within higher education in the Czech Republic. It analyzes the issue, comparing groups of students studying at Czech universities, according to their country of origin. The first part of the thesis is focused on defining higher education as an economic asset, and exploring its financing in the Czech Republic. Furthermore, the concept of human capital is analyzed, including its history, methodology and the types of return on investment identified within higher education. In the second part the parameters for the analysis are defined. This section also outlines the set method for calculating return on investment within higher education in the Czech Republic. The return on investment for students in higher education is then examined between the three nationalities with the highest representation in Czech universities -- Czech, Slovak and Russian students.
Funding of the Education System in the Czech Republic and Sweden

The thesis is based on the financing of education system in the Czech Republic and Sweden according to each level of education. There is characterized the organisation and the structure of the school system in both countries and analysed the methods of funding. In the main part, there are compared the means of funding education systems with emphasis on the differences bethween both countries and major issues of the czech school system. In the last part of the thesis I come up with ideas of adopting certain elements from swedish to czech model of financing education.
