The life in Třebíč after being listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site

The main aim of the bachelors thesis is to analyse and evaluate the influence of adding the sights-basilica st. Procopius, the Jewish Quarter and the Jewish cemetery on the life in Třebíč. The theoretical part focuses on cultural tourism and the UNESCO organisation. This section also describes tourism in the Czech republic and compares three UNESCO sites located in the Vysočina region. In the practical part are analysed changes in the town 13 years after being listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in different points of view, which are focused on cultural events regarding the celebration of UNESCO sights and jewish community, on changes in appereance of the town and new businesses. This part deals with promotion of the Třebíč and evaluate the number of visitors of the sights as well. The bachelors thesis involves the questionnaire research.

Guide services in the UNESCO monuments in Morava region

The diploma thesis is focused on current supply of guide services in the UNESCO cities in Morava region. Guide services in Třebíč are analysed more detailed. The main goal of the thesis is to find changes in supply of guide services, when the current situation is compared to the situation in 2005. I used the diploma thesis of former student of the University of Economics in Prague from 2005 for this comparison. The next goal is comparison of supply of guide services between each other UNESCO cities. In this comparison, the main attention is paid to Třebíč and its supply. It is analysed, how wide is the range of guide services and offer of language versions compared to other UNESCO cities in Morava region.

The Impact of Adding to UNESCO List on Tourism in Třebíč

The thesis deals with tourism in Třebíč and it mainly outlines the influence of adding the sights of Třebíč to the UNESCO List on tourism. In the practical part there are detailed analyses of changes in accessibility of sights to the public, in services provided in tourism, in the capacity of accommodation facilities as well as analyses of the number of visitors of the sights, the information centres and of the accommodation facilities compared to the statistics of the whole republic. The base of the analyses is the theoretical part, which deals with the UNESCO organisation and provides basic information about tourism in the Czech Republic, about the Vysočina region, about Třebíč and its attractions in tourism and about the promotion of the town of Třebíč. The thesis also contains a questionnaire research, which uncovers the current state of promotion of the town of Třebíč.
