The subject of the bachelor thesis is a design of a new detached apartment building in Nový Jičín. It is presented as a design documentation for a building construction. The building has a cellar and four above-ground floors and is covered by a single-shell flat roof. It is founded on a strip foundation and pads. There are 13 apartments in the above-ground floors with a size ranging from a studio apartment with a kitchen to 4-room flat with a balcony or a terrace. In the basement, there are technical facilities, garages and storage space for residents of the apartments. The wall cross-section structural system is made from HELUZ masonry units except for the basement external wall which is made of reinforced concrete. The ceiling construction is made of cast-in-place reinforced concrete. The whole building is insulated with contact thermal insulation and provided with a ventilated façade.

The subject of my diploma thesis is the design of a new building "retirement home", a home with a special regime, in the form of project documentation for the construction. The building is partly basement with four above-ground floors and covered by a single-layer flat roof. On the first floor there are common, operational spaces and spaces for commercial use. The other above-ground floors are identical and serve as an accommodation. There is mostly technical background in the basement. The construction system is a wall bi-directional of brick masonry elements, with the exception of basement masonry, which is made of reinforced concrete. The object is based on foundation pads and strips. Ceiling structures are monolithic reinforced concrete. The whole building is insulated by contact insulation and has a ventilated facade.

Tománková, Marie ; Kitzlerová, Jana (advisor) ; Ulbrechtová, Helena (referee)
The thesis consists of an analysis of two selected humoristic stories by A. T. Averchenko and a critical discussion of their translations. The aim of the thesis is to compare two relatively new translations of the stories by Alena Moravkova (translation from 1998) and Libor Dvorak (translation from 2005). The attention is mainly given to the means of expressivity in the stories, analysed first in the original and then in the selected translations. The second chapter is devoted to the life and work of A. T. Avercenko. The third chapter is theoretical and focuses on the means of expressivity in colloquial Russian. The following chapters of the thesis draw on theoretical conclusions made in the theoretical chapter. The fourth chapter analyses the original text of the story A Stone on the Neck with a special focus upon the lexical, syntactical and morphological levels of expressivity used in the story. An attention is also given to the sources of humour in the story. The fifth and sixth chapter deal with the translations by A. Moravkova and L. Dvorak respectively. They present a critical discussion of the translations. The discussion is divided into sections dealing with the source of humour in the story and with the lexical, syntactical and morphological aspects of the story. Similar in its structure to the...
