Determination of surfactants by capillary zone electrophoresis.
Tůmová, Klára ; Zemanová, Jana (referee) ; Řezáčová, Veronika (advisor)
Surfactans are synthetically made surface-active ingredients contained in washing and cleaning products. They decrease the surface tension and remove dirt. Surfactans can be divided into four basic classes: anionic, cationic, non-inonic and ampholitic. The most commonly used are the anionic ones. Thanks to the massive use they penetrate into waste water and can disturb the environment. This thesis is focused on the optimization methods and the determination of three anionic surfactants by capillary zone electrophoresis.
Respondents of internationalisms in professional texts
TŮMOVÁ, Klára
The topic of the bachelor's thesis is The respondents of internationalisms in professional texts. The theoretical part describes the concept of internationalism and puts it into context. It also focuses on the characteristics of professional texts. In the practical part, the respondents of internationalisms are retrieved using the parallel corpus InterCorp and then analyzed.
Lexicographical analysis of words from the thematic field "car industry" in the printed and internet dictionaries.
TŮMOVÁ, Klára
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate whether dictionaries can cope with the rapid entry of technical headwords into the language. The theoretical part deals with dictionaries, their types, headwords and structure. The aim of the practical part is to compare , with the aid of twenty selected headwords from the fiels of automotive industry, how the three dictionaries we chose, approach the newly arrived technical terminology. The task was also to find out, whether the printed dictionaries are still appropriate aids for translators and interpreters, or wheter the quick-witted and unlimited electronic dictionaries have already surpassed them.
Antidysrrhythmic drugs in the treatment of life-threatening dysrrhythmias
Tůmová, Klára ; Hrdina, Radomír (advisor) ; Tilšer, Ivan (referee)
AABBSSTTRRAACCTT Sudden death caused by a serious arrhythmia is quite common in the developed countries. Although pharmacotherapy is not the intervention of choice for patients who suffer from arrhythmia accompanied by serious objective symptoms (hypoxia, hypotension, chest pain), it plays an important role as an adjunct to non-pharmacological intervention in cases, when the intervention did not have the desired effect itself. Even as prevention of new arrhythmic episodes pharmacotherapy gives more and more place to radiofrequency ablation and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICD). It is an alternative to invasive intervention when this is not indicated for any reason and a useful adjunct to ICD in patients with frequent arrhythmic episodes requiring a discharge. Searching for patients at risk of a serious arrhythmia, especially for primary prevention, is of limited potentials. Results of presently used tests have limited predictive value, in addition to this many abnormal findings are not prognostically important for otherwise healthy persons. Those findings can have certain significance when found in patients with structural heart disease or rare genetic arrhythmogenic syndromes. This work reviews contemporary possibilities of treatment and prevention of arrhythmias including new methods. The...
Diversity of insect communities of non-indigenous forests of black pine (Pinus nigra) in the western part of Central Bohemia
Tůmová, Klára ; Kadlec, Tomáš (advisor) ; Jakubíková, Lada (referee)
Due to the rapid intensification of agriculture, there were a bigger and more often habitat loss and their fragmentation. These led to the decreasing of the size of suitable habitats and their isolation. The isolation of landscape fragments is a basic geographical characteristic, which plays an important role in the ecological invasions. The invasions generally cause major economic damages and they affect the loss of biological diversity in the stands. In this work, we focused on the effects of black pine (Pinus nigra). This wood plant has been occurred in the Czech Republic since the Tertiary period and disappeared by the subsequent disintegration of continents. The aim of this study is to determine the influence of black pine (Pinus nigra) on the invertebrates compared with the native stands of scots pine (Pinus sylvetris). The experiment was conducted at 35 plots in Central Bohemia (18 plots of Scots pine, 17 plots of black pine). The invertebrates were captured by light traps. The total abundance and biomass of invertebrates were determined from the captured samples. From the processed data was not proven negative impact on non-native black pine to overall abundance and biomass of invertebrates. This fact is most likely due to the phylogenetic relationship of both pine species. There were not found any differences in abundance and biomass of most herbivorous groups of invertebrates. However, in the black pine stands was reported a higher incidence of carnivorous species of invertebrates. The stands of the black pine have no negative impact on number of invertebrates in the Czech Republic, actually there was demonstrated even higher affinity of carnivorous species of invertebrates to the black pine trees.

The diploma work deals with a financial placement of commercial insurance companies in the Czech Republic. At first financial placement is defined according to the Insurance Act, including a description of its financial resources, technical reserves. The following chapters describe issue of financial placement from the perspective of Act on Accounting, namely the content of the item, recognition, initial and subsequent measurement. The Czech legal regulations are then compared with the International Financial Reporting Standards regulations. Described accounting principles regarding particular types of financial placement are applied to practical examples.
