Digitization of 2D objects in museum collections
Wenzl, Jonáš ; Vaněk, Jiří (advisor) ; Stočes, Michal (referee)
The thesis focuses on the analysis of digitization of two-dimensional objects and determination of methods applied to the collection in the Krkonoše Museum in Vrchlabí. The first part introduces and explains the theoretical basis. The second part contains an analysis of the digitization project in the Krkonoše Museum, compilation of methods from checking the object to its saving to data storage. Using the analysis, the main benefits and risks of digitization are ascertained. In conclusion, the digitization project of the Krkonoše Museum is assessed with the emphasis on the practical experience in the digitization of two dimensional objects, the possibilities of digitized collections and suggestions for further implementation. The solution provides a secure way of creating digital copies of objects of cultural and historical value, their archiving and future use of the data. The findings could be beneficial for other digitization projects.
Application development for iOS
Fialová, Tereza ; Havlíček, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Stočes, Michal (referee)
The main aim of this bachelor thesis is development of applications for mobile iOS operating system from Apple. The theoretical part deals with the study of documents and defining the syntax of programming languages and their subsequent evaluation. The following information are about the different versions of the operating system iOS. The practical part defines the terms of insolvency and matures / withdrawal. Next part is development of the application from website design after the application code. Finally is a summary of the whole thesis and recommendations.
Development of mobile application for iOS platform
Aldorf, David ; Šimek, Pavel (advisor) ; Stočes, Michal (referee)
This Bachelor's thesis deal with the development of mobile applications for iOS operating system. Creating of application was based on theoretical knowledge gained in the theoretic part of the bachelor's thesis. It was made a comparison of development environment based on chosen scoring method. The Chosen development environment was Xcode IDE developer by Apple Inc. Then it was create a logical design that contains the layout and describes the functionality of the application. Based on logical design was created graphic design based on Material design by Google. For the implementation of code was used modern object-oriented programming language Swift. Application allows users login via social network Facebook or via email. It ensures data storage in database FireBase and the users can access their data from other iOS devices. Application generate list of healthy life recipes from database and then keep user's informations for calculate the ideal day meal.
User interface of mobile application
Novák, Jakub Štěpán ; Šimek, Pavel (advisor) ; Stočes, Michal (referee)
Bachelor thesis is focused on issues regarding to mobile devices, specifically user interfaces of mobile devices. These devices are spread in such measure, that most people are using these devices to accomplish task from everyday life. Ease of use and overall experience depends strictly on user interface. Goal of theoretical part is to study universal conventions and methods used to create intuitive and good looking user experience, with focus on individual platform and use case. It also breaks down psychical side of development, which is hidden behind user interface. That means how the user think and behave within your application. In practical part, the theoretical knowledge is applied to real live scenarios and models. It contains analysis and real life problem solving, that are regarded to user interfaces and are specific for mobile platform. The result is clear and useful overview, that sums up how to effectively create quality and nice looking interfaces that are not just a pleasure to use, but also manage to deliver esthetical side, which results in fact, how likely the user will return to the applications.
Development of mobile application for Android platform
Homola, Radek ; Šimek, Pavel (advisor) ; Stočes, Michal (referee)
The bachelor thesis describes the process of mobile application development for operating system Android with exclusive using of standard components, which this platform includes. The theoretical part of thesis describes the platform itself, historical evolution of its versions, its architecture, tools required for the application development, general structure of the application project and fundamental, commonly used programmatical and graphical components. Practical part of thesis then documents the development of functional application prototype, based on knowledge of theoretical part. Practical part also includes recommendations, how to achieve responsive graphical user interface. Complete application source code is attached to the thesis.
Improvement hardware support in apron system of bulk and regional transport
Škeřík, Jan ; Vaněk, Jiří (advisor) ; Stočes, Michal (referee)
Theoretical part characteristic regional and bulk transport, underground and apron systems. Practical part of work deal with design of hardware support and this implementation in apron systems of transport, including compare with competition systems and with ensuing vision of transport. In the end is state total fall on operator and summary valuation.
Developing application - Android vs. iOS
Kural, Pavel ; Havlíček, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Stočes, Michal (referee)
The Bachelor thesis on the topic Developing application Android platform vs. iOS platform is about platforms Android and iOS in general, it characterizes its elements, basic structure, evolution, security and the typical programming language. The theoretical part of Bachelor thesis is based on a literature review and use to penetrate to the issue of developing application. The practical part of thesis is about creating demo version application in Android studio development studio for Android operating system and about the creating same one in Xcode development studio for iOS operating system. Based on the practical part, Android Studio and Xcode will be compared by Saaty method.
Application development for iOS with SWIFT
Hudek, Michael ; Havlíček, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Stočes, Michal (referee)
This thesis is focused on a development of the iOS application in SWIFT language. The thesis is devided into two parts - theoretical and practical one. At the beginning of the theoretical part, the Apple company is viewed since its founding to the present. The decsription of the company is followed by analysis of the iOS system, which is the integral part of Apple since 2007. Following part pictures the iOS and its analysis more deeply. The basic architecture of the whole system is presented, including the most frequented frameworks for creation of applications. In the next part I describe the basic tools, which are necessary for the creation the iOS applications platform and also the hardware is described. The main theme is the description of the Xcode Integrated Development Environment and mainly showing the Swift language itself, which replaced the Objective-C language. In the practical part the Playground environment is presented together with the several practical examles. In the second subchapter there is developing of the Weather application described in the Swift, the new programing language. In order to evaluate the contributions of the Swift language, the application was programmed also in Java language for the Android platform. In the course of the practical part, differents between these languages are showed in a way of the codes of individual functions matched through software metrics such as the number of lines of codes, the number of the chars and the size of the resulting application.
