Rozštípil, Jakub ; Stehlík, Jiří (referee) ; Hubálek, Jaromír (advisor)
The general aim of Master’s thesis is to design and execute electronics in the SMT device view for thin film gas sensors and to study principle of gas sensor functionality based on semiconducting oxides. The SMT device contains temperature controller and electronics which is able to scan the concentration of gas on the sensor surface. It is designed for controlling of four sensors and has to communicate with computer for setting of initial conditions and scanning of concentration of gas. The practical part of Master’s thesis contains design and construction of electronics and software making.

VFA and CFA comparison
Vystrčil, Marek ; Hubálek, Jaromír (referee) ; Stehlík, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is focused on comparison of operational amplifiers structures with voltage (VFA) and current (CFA) feedback. In the theoretical part there is an analysis properties of operational amplifiers. Attention is paid to advantages of particular amplifiers in concrete networks. The practical part contains the simulations of those networks with an aim to assess characteristic properties and a difference between applied circuits. I used the operational amplifier µA741 for the simulation of the structure VFA. I used the amplifier AD8011 for the simulation with current feedback. I added the theoretical and practical differences between comparative structures.
Program for checking and verifying of PDF document's content
Sohr, Martin ; Stehlík, Jiří (referee) ; Kadlec, Jaroslav (advisor)
Program runs through the text of pdf file and locates informations about text and about charakteristics of checked file based on set arguments. Program is able to load mentioned informations about author, title, content, key words and the name of program where was the file created from matadat file. Program is able to find out numbers of symbols, words, pages out of content of file and is also capable of searching for required text from the content of file. It’s possible to use star or interrogation convention for searching. Program is able to check several files in one start.
Internet application to show data from the wireless temperature measuring system
Procházka, Stanislav ; Stehlík, Jiří (referee) ; Kuchta, Radek (advisor)
Within this bachelor work the design of the Internet applications was created. It can be used for administration, archiving as well as presentation of data acquired from the coordinator of the temperature sensor network. The system is based on temperature measurement and it consists of the temperature sensor network, coordinator of sensor network and the Internet applications. The coordinator of sensor network collects data from wireless sensors and delivers them to the computer unit. Subsequently the Internet applications evaluate these data.
Methods of frequency stabilization of semicondutor lasers
Kozelský, Adam ; Stehlík, Jiří (referee) ; Mikel, Břetislav (advisor)
The main aim of the thesis is a frequency stabilization of the DFB semiconductor laser diodes. The temperature stability of the laser diode chip, the stability and the noise of the injection current and the backward reflections are the crucial parameters which affects the frequency stability. These influences are described and the resolution is proposed. The theory of the external methods of the frequency stabilization and the comparison of these methods is presented. One method was choosed and this method was realized for 760 and 1540 nm wavelength laser diodes. In this method was used the frequency stabilization based on the linear absorption to the spectral lines of the gases. The diploma work is closed by the measured results of the frequency stability of the used laser diodes and by the comparison of level of stability achieved by the other methods.
Digital clock and thermometer with matrix display
Kerndl, Michal ; Stehlík, Jiří (referee) ; Šandera, Josef (advisor)
There is suggestion of obtaining exact time and temperature in this work, based on DCF signal and SMT160 temperature sensor. This project is based on LED matrix display wich is ready-to-connect module. Layout of this work is designed schematic and board layout wich can be used to produce working prototype. This prototype have been created and tested in practice.
Vibration system control through embedded system
Genčanský, David ; Stehlík, Jiří (referee) ; Szendiuch, Ivan (advisor)
The importance of vibration and vibration tests is increasingly relevant given th growing number of mobile electronic devices. This thesis descibes the design of control vibrating shaker table, which is an essential element for vibration testing. At the beginning is an initial look on the problematics of vibration, vibration test and influences of vibrations on electronic components, solder joints and other parts uses in microelectronics. Provides insight to the principles of vibration measurement and controlling system used in industry. The workplace is designed for testing and measuring of vibrations. The workplace designed and developed in the LabVIEW enviroment based on CompactRIO platform.
Current Feedback Circuits for Analog Signal Processing
Stehlík, Jiří ; Bartoň,, Zdeněk (referee) ; Dostál, Tomáš (referee) ; Musil, Vladislav (advisor)
This dissertation thesis deals with design of new functional blocks usable in area of analogue signal processing, focusing on sensor signal processing. Versatility of these circuits will find applications in programmable analogue array structures that will be possible to control and configure via a digital signal. Hereby build-up array would be fully a reconfigurable digital control system for sensor signal processing and usable for a wide range of different sensors. It offers possibility to build-up a control code for each specific sensor system, with which it would be possible to achieve optimal results of the entire system and consequently place the system on a chip. The presented programmable array is designed from configurable analogue blocks. The current feedback circuits, which in a suitable configuration can operate in voltage or current mode, are used here. This allows to achieve very good results in the systems with very low power supply, which is closely associated with mobility and autonomous behavioral (that are very important and observed parameters today) of the entire sensor-based framework. The work deals in detail with particular blocks, which are described theoretically and evaluated for using in the programmable analogue array. Design of the structure of programmable analogue array as well the use of these circuits in the part of whole system (that will be realized on a chip) are presented at the end of this thesis.
