Psychological Aspects of HIV Positivity

This work is aimed at HIV positive people issue. The goal of this work is to describe psychological aspects of HIV positivness according to doctors role and try to discover what services does an organization cooperating with those clients offer. The work is devided into several main chapters. The first chapter is aimed at general description of HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) and AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome). The second chapter concerns psychological aspects as already mentioned. It endeavours to describe the sate of HIV positive people in daily life. Furthermore it concerns possible psychical problems connected with the disease. The third chapter considers the relationship between doctor and patient. The doctor is the one who follows the patient since the first days of his or her illness. The last chapter describes what services do organizations dealing with those clients offer. I chose Dům světla in Prague for this chapter. It provides complex variety of services which is rare in the branch of these services not only in Czech Republic. Although the number of HIV positive constantly increases all over the world they are a group standing on the edge of society and is in a way discriminated. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Language and Style of Czech-American Periodicals

The aim of this work is to introduce the immigration of Czech people to the USA and their cultural and especially literary and journalistic activities, the first Czech-American periodicals and their editors. The second part of this work deals with the description of these periodicals, namely with both content and formal description of the weekly periodicals Národní Noviny and Slávie. The last part of the work brings the analysis of the advertising section. Graphyc, morphology and lexicon are analysed. Based on this analysis, main characteristics of the language levels mentioned and their changes between 1860 and 1894 are given.
Child Prostitution in the Czech Republic

Diploma thesis "Children Prostitution In The Czech Republic" concerns the problematics and current status in the Czech Republic. It focuses on the issue in the world-wide context, especially from the view of international organization (UN, EU, etc.) recommendation. It describes possible solutions concept and comes with suggestions which could lead to the improvement of the current situation in the Czech Republic and to more effective efforts to solve the issue. It uses the description of the used conceptions in other countries of the EU and the possibilities of the use of the stated instruments as "best practice" for the Czech Republics situation. The thesis is divided into several parts. The first one describes children prostitution as it is from several views - why is it social threatening phenomenon, what shapes does it have, who it concerns - who are its actors. In the next part is the thesis focused especially on international scene, the recommendations of the international organizations and furthermore on the legislation in the Czech Republic. In the last part concerns the thesis the current situation in the Czech Republic and the problem solutions conceptions. These are summarized to concrete recommendation in the conclusion.
