Tramping and its specific features in Czech lands in the 1970s
Skoupilová, Nina ; Kocian, Jiří (advisor) ; Šmidrkal, Václav (referee)
Tramping is a common phenomenon in Czech countries. This popularity might be surprising at first glance, but it can be at least partly explained by the need to escape a stressful life by seeking refuge and relaxation in the welcoming arms of nature. Tramping adherents have historically faced severe persecution from public authorities. However, in the 1960s, Czechoslovakia went through a period of significant political changes that influenced the development of various social and cultural phenomena. The present work will therefore analyse how were specific tramping aspects altered in the changing political climate of the 1960s. Keywords Tramping, nature, security forces, 1960s in Czechoslovakia, political changes Title/názov práce Tramping and its specifics in Czech countries in 1960s Tramping a jeho specifika v 60. letech v českých zemích
