Development of the state system of the Byzantine Empire

100 Resumé: This diploma paper discuss about development of the state system of the Byzantine Empire in context with many changes of the form and extension of its territory. Primary are analysed relations between basic powers of the state and changes of their positions. Basic powers are means emperor, army and Church. Secondary senate, demoi and civil and military aristocracy. First chapter talk about territory evolution and about changes of the foreign and political relations of the empire. It primary serves like a illustartion of compilcated standing of the empire and also many important chnages of the territory and its ethnical structure of the state. These circumstances constituted a big problem for state administration. Second chapter attend to development of the state administration with special intent on the "theme system". Especially on its origins and downfall. Author also try to find context between decline and fall of the empire and administration of the state. In the third chapter is analysed successional system of byzantine emperors, especially its negative aspects. Tema moji diplomove prace je rasisticke zakonodarstvi nacistickeho Německa. Toto tema jsem zvolila, protože si myslim, že je třeba si připominat i stinne stranky pravnich dějin, abychom se z historie poučili a předešle chyby neopakovali. Diplomovou praci jsem rozdělila do osmi zakladnich kapitol. V prvni kapitole vymezuji zakladni pojmy rasismus a antisemitismus, rasove teorie a vůdcovsky princip, neboť tvořily integralni součast nacisticke ideologie. Druha kapitola obsahuje nastin politicke a ekonomicke situace v povalečnem Německu, postupny vzestup Nacionalněsocialisticke německe dělnicke strany v čele s Adolfem Hitlerem, převzeti moci nacisty a prvni fazi protižidovských opatřeni. Třeti kapitola se věnuje nejvyznamnějšim rasistickym zakonům, tedy tzv. norimberskym zakonům, a dvěma zakonům, jež se tykaly dědičneho zatiženi. V dalšich kapitolach jsem se zabyvala dvěma důležitými mezniky protižidovske politiky Německa. Prvnim je celonarodni pogrom z 9. a 10. listopadu 1938, tzv. křišťalova noc, kterou bych označila za předehru holocaustu. Druhy meznik představuje porada na tema "konečne řešeni evropske židovske otazky" znama jako konference ve Wannsee. 1

Racist legislation of Nazi Germany

The thesis is divided into nine separate chapters. In the first chapter, I focused on the aftermath of the First World War. Shortly after the cessation of fighting, representatives of the powers involved met in France to establish responsibility for the outbreak of the global conflict. The Treaty of Versailles imposed high financial reparations on Germany and also stipulated a reduction of the German army and, last but not least, the removal of a part of the German territory. The second and third chapters are devoted to postwar developments in Germany. After the war, Germany became a republic, namely a democratic republic. The Weimar Republic even had one of the most democratic constitutions in Europe. From its establishment, the republic was facing hardly surmountable difficulties in the field of internal politics, economy and later finance. It is therefore no wonder that the citizens, disappointed in democracy, heeded the positively sounding mottos of the National Socialists on the eradication of unemployment and the improvement of living standards for all. I have divided the era of Hitler's Germany into three periods in terms of taking antisemitic measures for the purposes of better orientation in the text.
