The suspension types of passenger Cars
Sedlář, Jiří ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Porteš, Petr (advisor)
In this thesis there is mentioned the overview of types of axles, which are used by the current cars.Their working principle is described for each type of axle and it is also mentioned an example of usage for concrete car. In the thesis are listed marks and types of cars, which use this types of axles.
Cutting tools for deep drilling and their use in practice
Sedlář, Jiří ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Jaroš, Aleš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with tools for drilling deep holes. The first part is focused on the basic description of the drilling process, sorting the tools according to their construction and last but not least, sorting of the systems used for deep drilling. In the theses is further elaborated an overview of materials for the production of cutting tools and ways of coating, which are used the most nowadays. There is a constant development in coating, because of the better mechanical, physical and chemical properties in this field. The last part is dedicated to the definition of the tools for deep drilling and their use in practice.
Design of a two-axis multi-spindle lathe carriage
Sedlář, Jiří ; Štěpánek, Vojtěch (referee) ; Hadraba, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design of a two-axis multi-spindle lathe carriage. In the first part, there is made a research, and its aim is to find possible variants of design solutions. After the best rated variant was selected, the thesis further continues with the necessary technical calculations of the main design nodes such as a synchronous servomotor, ball screw, linear guide and bearing. The design itself was carried out with regard to calculations and the resulting model was examined in terms of dynamic stability. The subject of examination was to find the natural frequencies of the assembly and to determine the amplitudes of the oscillations which arise from the harmonic excitation force. Finally, Lobe diagrams for grooving and longitudinal turning operations were drawn.
Race Car Roll Cage
Sedlář, Jiří ; Hejtmánek, Petr (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
Master thesis is about increasing of protection the crew in race car with changes in its roll-over protective structure according to current safety rules. For examination was used the Finite Element Method. The products of this thesis are different variation of roll cages, which are tasked to increasing the safety of existent race car.
Comparative Markov state analysis of APOE protein dynamics by neural networks
Kopko, Jakub ; Sedlář, Jiří (advisor) ; Holeňa, Martin (referee)
This thesis leverages the CoVAMPnet neural network architecture to analyze the dy- namics of apolipoprotein E (APOE), a protein involved in the development of Alzheimer's disease. CoVAMPnet offers a versatile machine learning framework for extracting mean- ingful features from high-dimensional molecular dynamics data and constructing Markov state models to characterize protein conformational dynamics. By applying CoVAMPnet to APOE simulations, the thesis successfully captures the protein behavior by reveal- ing its key conformational states and structural transitions. These findings provide new insights into the dynamics of APOE and its potential role in Alzheimer's disease. The thesis also investigates the influence of a small molecule drug candidate 3SPA on APOE's conformational behavior, shedding further light on its therapeutic possibilities. Overall, this work demonstrates CoVAMPnet's effectiveness in analyzing and comparing the dy- namics of larger proteins in an interpretable manner, reinforcing its potential application for complex biomolecular studies. 1
Criteria for prohibition or suspension of political party's activity and their fulfillment by the Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia
Sedlář, Jiří ; Hájek, Lukáš (advisor) ; Charvát, Jan (referee)
The topic of banning or suspending the activities of the Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia (KSČM) has long resonated in Czech society. The aim of the thesis is to answer, on the basis of summarized criteria and expert opinions, whether the KSČM did not meet the conditions for its prohibition or suspension of its activities in a certain period of its existence (1989-2012). The text is theoretically based on the concept of defensive democracy, the foundations of which are brought closer to the reader both in general terms and in a more detailed form in the environment of the Czech Republic. Among other things, the thesis reflects selected historical cases associated with the Communist Party, which led to the development of this concept in the Czech Republic. Individual efforts to legally sanction the Communist Party culminated in 2011 with a request from the Ministry of the Interior for expert opinions. The aim of these assessments was to support the reasoning of the upcoming proposal to suspend the activities of the KSČM. The result of this work is the finding that on the basis of a comparison of general criteria and arguments from expert opinions, the activities of the Communist Party could not be banned or suspended.
Creating Panoramic Images from Photographs Acquired with Different Camera Settings
Fibichr, Jaroslav ; Sedlář, Jiří (advisor) ; Holub, Viliam (referee)
When taking pictures for the purpose of creating panoramic images, it is more convenient to adjust camera settings for each image separately to keep the convenient brightness distribution. It usually leads to a set of images with differences in brightness must be corrected before stitching. The goal of this thesis is to propose solutions to adjust these differences and implement them in the application Panomedic. The first method is based on direct brightness level mapping in overlapping area of the images. The second method utilizes statistical values obtained from image brightness distribution. The method for searching the seam of stitching is also described. The resulting panorama image is without visible transitions between the input images.
