Industrial Heritage of Kladno

Industrial buildings and businesses are inherently to face the Central Bohemian city of Kladno. Through field research is captured in the work of the Kladno current state of industrial monuments and mapped their history. I used only specific cases that are written between technical monuments and they are interesting both from a historical and urban or technical perspective. Thanks capture the historical and contemporary situation arose holistic view of technical monuments in the area and at the same time there was a familiarity with the approach and in terms of the industrial heritage. The work is divided into three main parts. The first is devoted to an introduction to the issues and explain the basic concepts. The second part focuses on the history of metallurgy and mining in the Kladno and also explores the main sights, except where their history is mentioned as the current status. The third section shows the current utilization of monuments, looking for inspiration in the Czech Republic and abroad, how to dispose of unused objects and finally introduces activities that help attract the public's interest in technical monuments and sights mainly to help themselves. Termination of mining on the mine Schoeller/Nejedlý/Kladno in the eyes of miners

"Black Kladno" - a name inextricably linked with the largest city of the Central Bohemian clearly reflects the former industrial face of Kladno. In addition to the steel industry here had long tradition just coal mining and its phasing, which culminated early in 2002 close of the last Kladno Mine Schoeller / Nejedly / Kladno, had an impact on a large number of people who have worked in this field. In addition, mine closure linked solely with the decline of mining activities after 1991, but also with a methane explosion, which occurred at the mine in late 2001, and died with him four people. The Comparison of forms of institutional care for the mentally disabled regarding the quality of life of clients - in Institute of Social services in Slatiňany.

In the last time the people who are in some way disadvantaged are more considered than before. To insist on common human rights observacing, veneration of person as a human creature, freedom and equal opportunities between people in the community are the trends of the last years. After the Czech republic admission to European Union the social sphere began to develop and regenerate. In the face of some impediments and problems we can say that the society at the threshold of the 21st century has made first short steps to successful integration of handicapped people into the majority society. The goal of my Bachelor thesis is the view of the development of the insitution care in the Czech republic. I focused on one of the largest Czech institutions and it is the Institute of Social Services in Slatiňany. This organization passed by several phases {--} from classical, traditional institutional care to building the living in four family houses that work on principle of the family care.
