Application of the hyperMILL 2021.2 SP3 CAM software for machining
Rais, Tomáš ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
This Master‘s thesis is dealing with the design of the NC program in hyperMILL software. A machining program has been already created for this component based on which a new optimized program is created. The work includes technical documentation and documents necessary for the creation of the NC program. Specifically, a model of the part, a simplified drawing and setup sheets generated based on mentioned newly created NC program. In the designed optimized program, refined tools are considered for production, which started to be used in companies due to their price. The thesis contains author’s own conclusions and recommendations for practice in addition to performed optimization in the program designed for machining the selected part. The technical evaluation focuses on possible problems related to the use of re-sharpened tools. The economic evaluation is then dealing with the estimation of savings achieved by the use of re-sharpened tools.
Application of CAD/CAM software for machining
Havran, Lukáš ; Jankových, Róbert (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is the application of CAD / CAM system in machining. It contains a brief search of the possibilities of programming in CAD / CAM systems. Software that were used in this work were Creo Parametric from PTC and PowerMILL from Autodesk. The practical part of this work is focused on the production of a copy of a physically existing component using selected systems. In this part, attention is paid to the creation of a 3D model together with production of documentation using the Creo program and the creation of the machining program in PowerMILL for the implementation of production at CNC machine. The proposed procedure is verified by graphical simulation. Part of the practical part is also the selection of suitable machinery and tools for the actual production. The conclusion of the work is devoted to the control of the manufactured component.
Application of the SinuTrain 4.93 software in milling
Bartuněk, Martin ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on the design and preparation of the production of a single front mountain bike chainring, using computer software SinuTrain 4.93. The work has several parts. The first part discusses the possibilities of NC programming and measurement. The next part deals with the design of a chainring, material selection and strength analysis. In the third part of the work, the technological conditions of milling are proposed and the machine is chosen. Next step is creation of NC program including inprocess measurement by workpiece probe and design of postprocess measurement by optical system SOL165. Finally, the work outputs obtained in the form of SinuTrain software simulation are evaluated.
SinuTrain 4.8 software tools for NC programming of five-axis milling
Beháň, Jakub ; Trčka, Tomáš (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with preparing the production process of the winning prize, which contains a selection in the form of a hyperbolic paraboloid in its upper part. The work is divided into four main chapters. First of all, the introduction part of the diploma thesis presents the possibilities of programming in the Sinumerik control system. Next, the mathematical requirements of the selected surface - hyperbolic paraboloid - are explained. The practical part consists of creating an NC program where all the theoretical knowledge from the introduction is applied. Finally, the diploma thesis ends with an economic evaluation of the selected element.
Application of CAD/CAM software PowerMILL 2020 for turning
Horáček, David ; Sliwková, Petra (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
The work is focused on introduction and brief description of CAM software PowerMill 2020 from a company named Autodesk. Furthermore, this thesis discusses the issue of CAD/CAM systems, especially additive manufacturing. Description, division, technology, materials and area of application of additive manufacturing including advantages and disadvantages are discussed. The work also includes the issue of hybrid manufacturing and introduces the most important companies operating in this area of production. The practical part of the thesis is mainly focused on outlining the machining process of own designed part in the PowerMILL2020.
Heidenhain tools for programming of CNC machines
Farka, Jan ; Sliwková, Petra (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
Modern machine tools are equipped with control systems, which are the imaginary brain of the whole machine. These control systems are developed, further managed, and constantly innovated by many companies, so it is clear that there is a kind of competition in the field of control systems. The aim of this work is mainly to describe the possibilities of one of the greats among developers of control systems from the company Heidenhain and also a thorough comparison of this system with systems from other manufacturers. Last but not least, other Heidenhain products and their possibility of use in practice will be presented in the work.
Sinumerik Operate tools for programming of CNC machines
Krejčík, Jan ; Sliwková, Petra (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on possibilities of spline approximation and interpolation of CAD imported by CAD Reader to control system. First chapter describes mathematical meaning of curves, the second chapter shows possibilities of approximation and interpolation in control system Sinumerik 840D and the third chapter applies these possibilities on practical example.
A study of cutting forces during the turning process and their measurement
Piroš, Viktor ; Trčka, Tomáš (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is structured as a literature search. Its target is to show a complex look at the problematics of force load in turning process. In the beginning, the thesis is focused on brief characteristics of turning process and tool geometry as a one of the main aspects influencing the force load in the machining system. Furthermore, the thesis deals with problematics of force load creation and its dependence on basic cutting parameters. Second part of the thesis is dedicated to the options of force load measurement in turning process and works out an illustrative example of numerical evaluationof measured data with basic statistical indicators in detail.
Machining of hardened parts
Havlík, Daniel ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on the machining of hardened parts. The beginning of the work is devoted to the analysis of specific materials, 42CrMo4, 42CrMoS4 and 50CrMo4. Next described thing is heat treatment. The main part of this work consists of theoretical analysis turning of hardened parts and theoretical analysis of the thread whirling of ball screw, where the principle of ball screws is also described.
Technical preparation for the production of label carriers and RFID inlays
Blažek, David ; Sliwková, Petra (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the development and production of end effectors for the transmission of labels and RFID inlays using robots. The first part of it describes the RFID technology, robots and their end effectors, then compares the materials for the design of the end effector and its subsequent production. Then follows the preparation of a practical implementation, where the analyses examining the channels inside the effector are described. Furthermore, this work describes the testing of suction cups, production control by graphical simulation, production of individual prototypes of end effectors and their testing.
