Happiness in the Elderly

This diploma thesis is focused on happiness in the elderly. It searches answers on questions like: Can be the senior citizens happy? How should we grow old without loosing contentment? The meaning of the word happiness is discussed, as well as multiple points of view on old age. The presence of happiness in elderly is studied including ways toward the happiness. The thesis also includes seven casuistry, which illustrate the happiness of senior citizens. The results of casuistry complement the theoretical parts of the work.

Salesian christian mission among Roma at Poštárka, Slovakia

The bachelor's thesis deals with the reflection of Roma animators from the Salesian center at Poštárka in Bardejov on their life in the Salesian center from childhood to animation, what it gave them into their life, in what they see the success of the mission, in what they say the mission is unsuccessful. The work is based on the publication God Between Barriers, research project SIRONA 2010, which mapped the activities of religious movements among the Roma in Slovakia, forms of the social change in those communities that have undergone religious change and found out whether this change leads to social inclusion.

Presentation of Czech Television journalists on social networks with the regard to provision determining the rules and manner of their appearance

The aim of this diploma thesis was to present in detail the document made by the director of News and Sport division of Czech Television Zdeněk Šámal entitled Decaloque for the Work od Czech Television Journalists on Social Networks. This document recommends Czech Television journalists how to communicate on their personal profiles on social networks. In this context, the thesis also includes a relatively wide research, which introduces to readers, whether there are some similar documents published in other european public service media. An important question in this issue was a journalists autonomy and the freedom of speech, which could theoretically be by this type of document threatened. For a compehensive approach to the whole issue, there is also a practical part of this thesis, which inludes interviews with Czech Television journalists, which helps to introduce readers also a subjective view, both of the Decaloque and freedom of speech. The diploma thesis acquainted the readers with the document published by Czech Television and presented in detail a similar ones that are used by our geographical neighbours but also by other european countries such as France and United Kingdom (Czech Televisions Decaloque was mostly inspired by BBC). Horizontal cooperation of a town (Benátky nad Jizerou)

This bachelor thesis describes horizontal cooperation of municipalities. The Czech Republic is characterized by high density of network of small municipalities; therefore these towns or villages deal with their problems based on cooperation. The theoretical part defines residential structure of the Czech Republic and focuses on particular forms of collaboration within the municipalities in the Czech Republic. The practical part is defined as a case study. It contains brief characteristic of the town Benátky nad Jizerou and forms of cooperation, in those this town participates. This part also valorizes the success of the cooperation, its effectiveness and if the purpose of this cooperation was fulfilled. This part of the thesis is compiled based on information obtained by interviews with representatives of the town and on research of documents.
