Coaching as a tool for leading people

2 Abstract This thesis submitted focuses on coaching as a style of leading people. The thesis analyzes the fundamental principles and tools of professional coaching which are subsequently interpreted from the perspective of their possible use in managerial practice with all benefits and potential difficulties. Due to its specificity, I deal with the role of the manager-coach as well. Given the focus of the thesis, I first dealt with the definition of coaching as such without any detailed specification, and with its possible use. I used the gained information for defining the managerial coaching in the context of leading people. In the second chapter I concentrated on coach and manager-coach as a person, their characteristics and competence which are necessary for coaching. In the third and fourth chapter I mainly dealt with coaching tools and their use in managerial practice. Finally, the thesis compares the results of an international research with the author's questionnaire survey, from the viewpoint of the use of coaching in organizations in the Czech Republic and world scale. Talent management

This thesis is looking for the answer to the question: "What is the talent management and how it can be effectivelly implemented to the personnel policy of the organization?" Attention is focused on clarifying the concept of talent management and individual personnel actions, which take place in organizations, and their possible connection with the talent management. The practical exhibition of the talent management programme is described in more detailes and its goal is to formulate conclusions that would answer the inniciate question and help to expose effective talent management process. Key words: talent, talent identification, talent recruitment, motivation and stabilization of talents, managing and developing talent.
Analysis of the views of employment to the restructure in concrete company

The thesis focuses on the research of the change process of organization structure. It contains the analysis of an opinion of interns about the process of change. The applied methods analyze the preparation of change process, its continuance the way of a top management communication with employees and the result of the restructure. Afterwards the way of the top management communication to insiders is evaluated. At the end there are proposed recommendations, which could help the company to achieve a better implementation of the process of change and also to obtain a higher percentage of satisfied insiders with that change.
