Economic evaluation of selected agricultural company with a focus on vegetable production

This thesis deals with the evaluation of the economic situation and performance data of selected agricultural company, economic evaluation of the level of its operations in the area of crop production with a focus on vegetable production for the period 2011 - 2015. The work includes a theoretical part, in which the definition of an agriculture, its functions and properties, as well as factors affecting results of operations, basic accounting documents, indicators and methods of financial analysis is described.
The practical part contains an analysis of management and economic evaluation of selected agricultural society Agrokomplex Ohře Inc. in the period 2011 - 2015. Based on the results of the analysis of the company and the assortment of vegetables the recommendations for improving of the efficiency of management in the chosen company are given.

Rural family and household

This diploma thesis analyzes the life of rural families of the village Nehvizdy. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis explains the basic concepts of work, such as family, lifestyle and countryside. The theoretical part is based on the study of available scholarly literature.
The main objective of the diploma thesis is to clarify whether and to what extent rural families live a traditional way of life and how this way of life coincides or differs with the new satellite district residents of the investigated village. An empirical probe was used for these purposes.
Data collection was conducted by anonymous questionnaires. The results of the survey show that the difference between new and old residents of the village is not very big. The original inhabitants of the village prefer the traditional rural way of life, devote most of the time to the domestic economy and cultivate a field or a large garden only a little more than new satellite district residents. The new immigrant population of satellite district also practice some of these activities. Residents of the satellite also slightly more prefer public life over family life. Overall, residents of the original buildings prefer traditional principles and forms of rural life more than new residents of satellites.
A secondary objective was to determine what importance the family value system has in the local population. The results of the survey show that the family is very important for both original and new residents.

Rating system from support of young farmers

The topic of this thesis is to evaluate the rating system from support of young farmers. The theoretical part of the work draws from the literature, legislative measures and internet resources. The work presents the basic historical data and changes which the Czech Republic has undergone since joining the European Union and the description of the individual institutions are closely linked subsidy policy. There is also a given rules governing young farmers in applying for a grant and definition of their responsibilities arising from the subsequent drawdown approved subsidy. The theoretical part also focuses on the issue of organic farming, which is a European Union increasingly supported and its expansion is included in all programming periods and using grants to less favored areas LFA. They are closely linked to young farmers and farming in these areas is for the applicant advantage at the time of submission.
Custom work is focused on the comparison of two contrasting regions and comparing of interest in agriculture from a gender perspective. Outside the applicants' interest is compared to their success, which is closely related to gender comparison. On the basis of comparison is the conclusion reached in a goal for the proposals and recommendations that can improve the efficiency of subsidies for young farmers and aid and for the future performance of the agricultural sector in the country.

Countryside renewal - example of a small municipality

The first preliminary, theoretical part of this dissertation Countryside renewal - example of a small municipality defines the terms of country, country house, town, revitalisation and development. This part is folowed by the introduction of concept which presents the evolution and development of relationships betwen town and coutry. There are qualified regional inequalities and disproportions and their impact on the country development. The thesis outlines the history of regional policy in the Czech Republic, counry problems in the Czech Republic and succession of EU policy to the country development at us. There are included basic developing documents in the thesis.
The theoretical part is followed by the practical part, which is focused on the analysis of the concrete village. The village is shortly introduced and is also described its hhistory and current development. I did a quantitative and also qualitative research in the village. Results of this research and questioning research, including the questioning analyses, are described in the last part of this thesis. The possible and and developing potential is proposed for the given village, with respect to the opinions of local citizens and deputies.

Rural renewal - a small village example

This thesis, created under the topic of rural renewal, illustrates the rural area and its renewal topic on the example of a small village, specifically East Bohemian village Kosice. To do so it firstly defines a theoretical platform consisting of core concepts in rural areas such as country, village, municipality and influencing entities. The second part of this thesis contains theoretical studies focusing on rural development and renewal with the definition of development support instruments, levels and entities; it also describes potentials and summarizes factors and trends affecting rural life, including migration trends.
The first practical part studies and analyzes Kosice, its development over time and current situation which enables inclusion of the village among the rural ones and determination of the research basis. The actual research is based on acquired theoretical and practical knowledge. To consider local specifics a qualitative research consisting of an interview with a mayor is carried out, followed by a quantitative research through questionnaire survey to gain the residents´ perspective on the current development and the possible future development of the village. The results are processed using statistical methods and used to propose recommendations to the village for its future activities according to the obtained opinion of its population.

Assessment of Selected Economic Instruments EU in Environmental Policy

The thesis dealing with the environmental policy on general level, e.g. define the basic terminology as policy of environment, it´s tools, and describe principals of environmental policy. The thesis evaluates ecological taxis and their implementation into Czech legislature, describing realization of tax reforms in Czech Republic and comparing the system with other countries of European Community. The text informs about different math models used in impact evaluation of economic tolls in the sphere of environmental policy. The impact of the selected tools on the state budget of the Czech Republic is analysed in the text. Ecological taxes (solid fuel tax, natural gas tax, other types of gas tax, and electricity tax) create chosen economic tool that is incorporated into Czech legislature. The analytical part of the thesis concerns on analyse and evaluation of the state budget income originated from ecological taxes in the period between 2008 and 2015. Further on the impact on ecological taxis on GDP in different countries of European Community is searched. How ecological taxes contribute to environmental protection is specified in the thesis as well.

The Economical and Uneconomical Factors (limits) Analysis for Consumer Credit Providing

This thesis deals with characteristics of economic and noneconomic factors influencing getting a consumer loan. The content was focused on behaviour of financial and nonfinancial institutions when approving consumer loans, to practise throughput of this system on testing applicants and then to evaluate the factors. This thesis specifies the term loan, its specification and establishment and primarily the bank´s risk of its providing. It acquaints with the banking system, its division and arrangement and approval process.

A comparison of unemployment in various social groups

This diploma thesis has both a theoretical and a research section. In the theoretical part basic concepts related to the topic are defined and the unemployment of social groups vulnerable in the labour market that require increased attention in their inclusion are analysed. The empiric section comprises of research focusing on candidates of these social groups applying for a job. Furthermore, the research of the labour office's employees at the departments of the labour office (KoP ÚP ČR) is included. The acquired data is then evaluated and a conclusion formed as to how the current situation can be improved.

"Contribution of tourism to the regional development - a case study of the Labe bike path"

In order to fulfill goals of the thesis, representatives of the studied subjects were informally interviewed and provisions were suggested for more efficient use of the bike path potential.
The thesis investigates benefits of the new bike path Hradec Králové,Josefov, Kuks for the area of travel business in a relationship to surrounding subjects. In order to fulfill goals of the empirical part of the work, in theoretical part it was necessary to study relevant regulations and professional literature that comes out of theoretical fundamentals of knowledge, context and mutual relationships in the area of travel business. Further the author has studied relevant regulations and professional literature in the area of regional politics and bike transportation.
The transition between theoretical and empirical part constitutes of secondary analysis of the data on subjects surrounding the bike path. Through the secondary data the author could categorize studied subjects to the groups of municipalities, enterprise subjects and attractions.

Social Life in Rural Area

This submitted thesis concerns itself with social life in the countryside, specifically in Peruc, located in Ústecký kraj. The paper consists of two parts. The first, theoretical part, describes particular expressions, out of which some have been further researched and worked upon in the context of personal research. On the basis of available printed materials a description of the village has been drawn in a geographical, historical and contemporary aspect. The practical part provides a research plan and a choice of appropriate methods for research and data collection. An analysis of demographic indexes has been conducted and four semi-standardized interviews with the village and local organisations' representatives have been implemented for a better understanding of the social situation. Out of the spectrum of methods belonging to quantitative methodology, a survey type of research has been used to confirm or refute set hypotheses, which was followed by a discussion and a recommendation for the village and local organisations' leaders. Recommended suggestions could contribute to ameliorating social life in the village and therefore increasing general well-being and augmenting the village's grade. At the end the thesis has been shortly summarized, followed by a description of the most intriguing research findings.
