Description of Electrical and Mechanical Blocking in Various Types of switchgear UniGear
Janečka, Jaromír ; Pelc, Tomáš (referee) ; Orságová, Jaroslava (advisor)
In this bachelor’s thesis author focuses on medium voltage switchgear. Specifically switchgears produced by company ABB s.r.o. There is description of switchgear’s structure divided into basic blocks. Function of each block is described in detail. The second part introduces UniGear family. There is characteristic of their variants with table containing their electrical parameters. In next part author explains interlocking in switchgear and presents specific electrical, electromechanical and mechanical interlocks in switchgear. Next part contains exported schematics of three model substations made in EPLAN Electric P8 software, from which specific connections of commonly used interlocks can be read. Final part includes photographs of interlocks for extension of catalogs.
The effect of unstable ankle bone on the stability of standing and walking
Schořová, Jitka ; Pelc, Tomáš (advisor) ; Schreier, Bronislav (referee)
The diploma thesis "The influence of chronic ankle instability on postural stability of standing position and gait" deals with the theme of the chronic ankle instability and its role in gait and maintaining the postural stability. In the theoretical partis summarised basic kinesiology of the ankle joint and gait analysis, which is esspecially focused on muscles cooperationand movements in ankle joint. Furthermore, there is gathered knowledge about chronic ankle instability etiology. In the research part were twenty active sportsmen chosen and were devided into two groups. The first group included ten subjects with chronic ankle instability. The second group included ten subjects as a control. The aim of this research was to evaluate the relation between chronic ankle instability and subject ́s movement in the ground, its gait cycle and the loading respons of the lower legs. For the measurement and the objectivisation of chosen parameters were used specific tasks on stabilometric platform the Balance Master® System and the FDM platform®. We suggested significant differencies between the two groups. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Clustering objects with the MCluster-Miner procedure of the LISp-Miner system
Pelc, Tomáš ; Šimůnek, Milan (advisor) ; Šulc, Zdeněk (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with clustering objects with the MCluster-Miner procedure of the LISp-Miner system. The first aim of this bachelor thesis is clustering objects with the mentioned pro-cedure and analyzing its possible usage on different datasets. To achieve this goal, the procedure was applied on six different datasets. The secong aim of this thesis is to analyze and compare implemented algorithms, similarity measures and to propose recommendations for clustering parameters. To achieve this goal, the available algorithms and similarity measures are compared based on achieved results (the quality of distribution objects into clusters, the time of clustering task, the number of attributes used for clustering). Based on these comparisons, the recommen-dations for clustering parameters are proposed. The benefits of this thesis are these recommenda-tions, comparisons of available algorithms and similarity measures, summary of actual state (da-ted to May 2017) of the MCluster-Miner module and showing the possibility of displaying results of clustering task at the interactive analysis of geodata. The theoretical part comprises the description of the LISp-Miner system, basic clustering principles, clustering methods and similari-ty measures used by the GUHA-procedure MCluster-Miner, and the MCluster-Miner module. In the practical part the MCluster-Miner procedure is being applied on six different datasets and the achieved results are summarized there.
Visual Examination of Posture in Physiotherapy, with Special Focus on Evaluation ofStrain Test Phases
Biskup, Šimon ; Šafářová, Marcela (referee) ; Pelc, Tomáš (advisor)
The examination of the function of body posture is one of the basic examinations of musculoskeletal system. Clinically, the initial examination is visual and summarized by a description. A number of other evaluation methods have been developed to allow for more objective assessment. These methods of examination can be divided into the following categories based on their approach: somatoscopic, somatometric and somatographic. Most of these methods, however, only evaluate posture based on the standing position and their evaluation criteria can be problematic and disputable. The goal of the practical part of our work was to study the possibility of evaluating posture using a newly emerging method: "Stress posture testing" (SPT), which has a very different approach than the usual methods. This method was developed at the Department of Rehabilitation and Sport Medicine of the Teaching Hospital in Motol as part of the long-term research project, which focused on late consequences of the Wilms kidney tumor treatment. SPT evaluates posture based on monitoring asymmetries in postural strategies aligning themselves with the selected more demanding postures; these are documented by a photo camera. We studied the ability of both one and several evaluators to consistently visually evaluate the same subjects using SPT...

Business valuation of GZ Media, a.s.
Pelc, Tomáš ; Maříková, Pavla (advisor) ; Kislingerová, Eva (referee)
The goal of the diploma thesis is to create a business valuation based on investment value of GZ Digital Media, a.s. The date of business valuation is on 1 st January 2015 for purpose of hypothetical sale of the majority shareholder´s share. At first, diploma thesis introduces the company itself. After that, the strategic and financial analyses follows. On these analyses is determined whether the assumption of going concern is fulfilled or not. The company is valuated with the DCF entity and industry multiples methods. After that the value of majority shareholder´s share is determined.
The financial analysis of GZ Digital Media a.s.
Pelc, Tomáš ; Bobek, Michal (advisor) ; Marek, Petr (referee)
The goal of this bachelor's thesis is to perform financial analysis and diagnose financial health of GZ Digital Media a.s. during years 2007-2010. Next goal is to compare gained figures with average figures of branch. Last goal is to construct a short term financial plan. This thesis is divided in to two parts. First part introduces methods and formulas, which are used in the thesis. In the second part, which is called practical, is whole financial analysis and comparison witch branch performed. Further, there is a financial plan constructed on specified presumptions. There are charts, graphs and pictures used often in the thesis to help better understanding of mentioned issues. In conclusion gained results are summed up and commented.
