In the theoretical part, I focused on the presentation and description of the different concepts and areas that are relate to the topic. In the first chapter I dealt with the developmental period of adolescence, where I first characterized this period and subsequently described the individual changes that adolescents are going through. The next chapter was devoted to the topic of gender, where I define and describe the basic concepts of gender issues and I closer focused on masculinity and masculine behavior. Subsequently, I focused on the classroom as on the respondents' environment, in which my research was originated. School class from a gender perspective - the behaviour of the children in the classroom
Fousková, Natálie ; Smetáčková, Irena (advisor) ; Pecha Šimotová, Eva (referee)
BAKALÁŘSKÁ PRÁCE The school class from the gender perspective - children's behaviour during the lessons Abstract I focused on the behaviour of girls and boys during their lessons at the first stage of elementary school. I created a topology of children in one class, concentrating on the masculine or feminine features of their behaviour. I explored the views of the children, including their motivation and the way they perceive the rules of behaviour and their teacher. The secondary topic is the teacher's view of the children and their conduct. In the first half of the thesis I introduce gender as both a scientific and social phenomenon, describing important aspects of gender in a child's development and concentrating on the role of gender in the classroom. In the second half of the thesis I introduce the method and process of performing the research, its results, their interpretation and a comparison with the theoretical basis. Key words pupils, school lessons, gender, school, teacher, gender stereotypes, education Natálie Fousková Praha 2014
