Office building with cafe
Ondrová, Martina ; Krupica, Roman (referee) ; Jelínek, Petr (advisor)
The aim of the Master‘s thesis is to design a detached near-zero energy office building with a café. The building is designed as three-storey detached building with the café on the first floor, offices on the first and second floor and the third floor contains building services. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part consists of architectural and structural designs. The building has foundations combining foundation pads, strips, and a foundation slab under a reinforced concrete core. The superstructure is designed as a reinforced concrete frame with ceramic infill walls and ventilated facade. The floor and warm flat roof structure is designed by using prestressed hollow core panels. The second part focuses on the design of building services and energy efficiency assessment. Heat for space and domestic hot water heating will be provided by air-water heat pumps which would also provide cooling in summer. The building will have mechanical ventilation. The electricity demand will be partially covered by a photovoltaic system. The photovoltaic panels will be placed on the roof. The artificial lightning will be used in the building. The rainwater drained from the roof through roof drains will be directed into a storage tank and reused for flushing toilets. If there is an excess, the water will be diverted via an overflow to a seepage polder on the plot. The third part of the Master's thesis involves a thermal assessment of selected structural focused on thermal bridges. Structural focused is dealing with the anchoring of structures into the building envelope provided by thermal insulation assembly blocks at the anchor points to brake thermal bridges. Calculation of the linear thermal transmittance has verified that thermal bridges do not occur in selected critical points. The calculation of the linear heat transfer coefficient involves two calculation methods, which are compared on the basis of the results in terms of practical application. The used software: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Deksoft, BuildingDesign.
Mixed-use building
Ondrová, Martina ; Navrátil, Michal (referee) ; Petříček, Tomáš (advisor)
The subject of my bachelor's thesis is project documentation for construction of a new mixed-use building in the town of Slušovice. The building has a partial basement, and four floors. In the basement there is a utility and a cleaning room, a storage space and a bike shed. On the first floor, there are two office spaces with separate entrances and a stroller storage. The second and third floors are identical, with three residential units on each. The fourth floor consists of two residential units. Each of the apartments has at least one balcony. All apartments are accessible from a single central staircase and an elevator. The building has its own parking lot with sufficient capacity on the property. The flat single-skin roof is insulated with polystyrene foam in several layers and loaded with a layer of aggregate. The vertical construction system is made of THERM ceramic blocks. The perimeter cladding is insulated with the ETICS contact thermal insulation system with facade expanded polystyrene. The horizontal load-bearing structures are made of a monolithic reinforced concrete slab. The perimeter walls in the basement are designed as monolithic reinforced concrete. The building is based on reinforced concrete foundation strips. The bachelor's thesis contains project documentation for this construction.
Design of dental panoramic X-ray with 3D view
Ondrová, Martina ; John, David (referee) ; Rajlich, Jan (advisor)
The topic of this thesis is the design of dental X-ray. User problems were identified based on the design and technical analysis for which solutions are presented in the work. The innovative shape and design solution shows a new approach to dental X-rays. The main benefit of the design is the solution to real ergonomic problems that can occur during the interaction of the operator or patient and the device. The design corresponds to current trends in the evolving design field of medical design.

Development of agricultural buildings - the use of modern technology, construction and building materials
ONDROVÁ, Martina
This thesis deals with the development of agricultural structures in terms of the use of modern technology, construction and building materials. The work consists of two parts. The first part is theoretical and there is an accurate description of the construction of agricultural buildings. The second part focuses on the comparison between realized agricultural buildings from the Czech Republic and abroad, examples of interesting buildings and lastly, general and custom design solutions for the use of derelict or disused agricultural buildings and sites and the associated risks.
