Nitra – City as a Market Place
Očadlíková, Veronika ; Dulíková, Lívia (referee) ; Mléčka, Jan (advisor)
The market tradition is perhaps as old as communication itself, the process of sharing and exchanging information. The thesis follows the development of the marketplace, the market space in the city of Nitra with the aim of finding its potential for space and space, which it understands as a permanent space of communication with an unstable character. The work uses this property and turns it to flourish to revitalize the marketplace, place, city outside its walls.
Architecture of home
Očadlíková, Veronika ; Pospíšil, Jan (referee) ; Mléčka, Jan (advisor)
The thesis is based on monitoring how one represents, creating an environment, how one completes it, or how the human environment is created. When we ask ourselves what our home means for us, we knew we could give it the shape of space. We could describe it as a place where we like to be. Some questions arise. If there is any idea of living at home, if it is as personal, how does each of us perceive home in his intimacy as well? How did it become the architecture itself? The goal of the work is to translate the understanding of the home through a specific situation. I choose a village in Slovakia, Čechynce, which has more than 1000 inhabitants. The architectural design itself does not adapt to the creation of a home as a house. He wants to point out that the home is not in an isolated system of walls, but in an ability of distence and in a chance to return again.
The object of metropolitan significance on the street Benesova Brno
Očadlíková, Veronika ; Němec, Josef (referee) ; Ruller, Ivan (advisor)
The density of public communications in Brno has acquired the character of metropolis, which, however, is nowadays asking for help in further development. The historic centre is fighting with dilapidation or with unused space of suburban districts. Behind all this I see the problem of urbanity, of propinquity. The resulting built-up area in the related locality complements to historical centre, to circuit and with its sequel of moves seeks inspiration in the development of nearby suburban districts. The priority of walk should be re-creation of network, sort of unity of space.
