Opinions of pupils from primary school on inclusion of sports games in physical education classes with a focus on basketball

The thesis is about the opinions of pupils from primary school on the inclusion of sports games in physical education classes with a focus on basketball. The thesis's target group are students from second and fifth grade, their teachers, and kids from sport summer camp. The goal is to find out about student's favorite sports games at secondary grammar school and see if basketball fits their preferences. Furthermore, through quality scaling see at what level are basketball skills such as dribbling and shooting. The theoretical part concludes didactic aspects in PE, sports games, and basketball itself. For the research purposes, the questionnaire was created specifically for students and teachers. For quality measurements of dribbling and shooting a chart was created to find out the right technique. The outcome of data was used as a method of a quantity which was then further shown on the graphs. The type of graphs was either showcased as pie charts and bar charts. For quality, measurements were used as a detailed statistic of more precise measurements on the chart and the arithmetic mean. The outcome of the thesis is finding that basketball really belongs amongst the favorite games of both students and teachers. The topic of the diploma thesis is focused on the areas of human resources management, education and development of employees in a Fire Rescue Brigade of South Bohemia. The principal aim of this thesis was the evaluation analysis of the system of employee education and development in the selected company, identification of educational needs, proposals for changes and recommendations for improving the management of this area.
