Cost Analysis of the Treatment of Prostate Cancer

This diploma thesis deals with prostate cancer, contains informations about this affection and in the practical part I deal with costs, which are used on treatment for prostate cancer. The theoretical part presents prostate cancer, its symptoms, risky factors and diagnostic. Furthermore introduces treatment methodes of prostate cancer, its classifying and insertion to stages. In the theoretical part are calculated costs on the individual modalities of prostate cancer treatment. These costs are compared with datas received from Hospital in Jihlava during the treatment of this affection. In the end sumarise costs of this treatment and analyse propriety of punctual screening of illness.

The Use of Franchising in the System Providing Health Care Services in the Czech Republic

This thesis deals with the usage possibilities of franchising within the scope of health care services provided in the Czech Republic. First part of the thesis concerns franchising in general, describes its principals, development, law regulation etc. Second part analyzes franchising market in the Czech Republic and subsequently identifies respective concepts that are active within the scope of health care services. In my opinion, based on the analysis performed and with respect to theoretical findings, due to specifics of health care services, franchising might represent a suitable form of cooperation only among selected types of these services. Recommended among the concepts available on our market within the scope of health care services are those, which according to my opinion have potential to become a successful business opportunity.

This diploma thesis is focused on the Management of the Patients Diagnosed with I80.2 - Phlebothrombosis. The main objective of this project was to approach the diagnosis of Phlebothrombosis from a clinical point of view. Further identification and quantification of costs based on the specific Phlebothrombosis case studies by the Cost of Illness analysis. Subsequent evaluation of the level of awareness of the risk associated with diagnosis of Phlebotrombosis among the general public. The major outcome of this thesis is quantification of the direct costs of public health insurance associated with treating patients and the direct personnel costs. The next important outcome is a research in the form of a questionnaire survey which was intended for the general public. Diploma thesis and its results may help as a basis for a full economic evaluation.

Transformation of regional hospitals driven by changes method

The thesis focuses on describing the transformation process of the merger of five hospitals Vysocina region in one functional unit, through the use Kotter model of changes. Due to influence the process of changing interest groups, to the extent described the process of analysis of the influence of interest groups in order to determine the method of communication between these groups and the team implementing change. The content of the thesis is also developing an action plan to implement the changes by determining the time frame for individual operations.

The topic of this bachelor thesis is to design a communication strategy of Sports games of Czech Canada. The theoretical part deals with defining the marketing of services theory, marketing communication including tools of communication mix, STP processes and a strategy. The practical part describes Sports Games of Czech Canada together with the initial situation of marketing communication and proposes a new improved communication strategy based on the results of a questionnaire.

Non-compliance of the Patient in Surgery Rehabilitation

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the phenomenon of non-compliance (patient and healthcare provider services) in public rehabilitation surgery, with private physiotherapist and in special lymfocentre surgery using questionnaire. The theoretical part deals with the issue of non-compliance and explains the terms associated with it, describes the kind of rehabilitation, physiotherapy and mention epidemiological data. The result of practical part is the evaluation questionnaire and testing hypotheses.

The aim of theses is create a strategy based on results from analysis witch ware created during the writing this theses. Elected subject is Inpatient Health-Care Facility: Jinřichův Hradec Hospital. The facility is situated in South Bohemia and is also part of South Bohemia hospitals association. Majority owner is South Bohemia Region. In this region are located another seven hospitals witch may be considered as competitors. Analysis will verify internal as well as external environment of organization. Based on these findings, the current status, strenghts and weaknesses, opportunities and potential threats will be determined strategy.

Verification and Evaluation of Employees' Satisfaction in Pelhřimov Hospital

This thesis deals with the analysis and the evaluation of Hospital Pelhřimov, p. o. employees satisfaciton. The aim of this study is to evaluate employees satisfaction, to find out what motivates hospital staff most and to propose recommendation that could lead to increased satisfaction. The survey was conducted by collecting data through a questionnaire. The verification of the first statistical hypothesis -- "Are Hospital Pelhřimov, p. o. employees satisfied at work", was focused on the factors that affect employees most at work. The second survey dealt with the hypothetical question -- "Is group of workers in hospital -- non medicals motivated enough?". After the evaluation of the questionnaires there are submitted several proposals and recommendation that could lead to increased employees satisfaction. In this thesis there is further described the structure of the hospital, the method of remuneration, care for employees, employees benefits, working hours, working conditions and working aids.

Strategic Analysis of Pelhřimov Hospital

The diploma thesis deals with the Strategic analysis of Pelhřimov hospital, allowance organization. The health-care facility, which is established by Vysočina region, is situated in dynamic environment. In the catchment area, which is defined by the district, the researched subject adopts the dominating position on the market. Doubtless, the strong points of Pelhřimov hospital are the human capital and the quality of provided health care. On the other hand, the weak points are economic situation of the hospital and insufficient marketing activities. On the basis of the determinated drawbacks, which come out of the internal and external analysis, the recommendation in the form of action plan is stated at the end of the thesis.
