Evolution of audiovisual work and its application of student film is the main theme of this bachelor thesis. It describes main milestones in the history of cinematography which gives us entire view on the evolution of audiovisual production. The main focus of this work is given to the production of audiovisual work. It informs us about the film production process, including text and image documents. As well it acknowledges importance of the film crew and their key roles and competencies. At last the reader is briefly informed on essential copyright protection in the Czech Republic. This bachelor thesis is intended for those interested in film production but it is also great source of information for production managers or any starting position in the film industry.
The theory and practice of Audiovisual Coloring

The thesis discusses the theory and practice of audiovisual coloring. The purpose of this study is to: (a) map the historical development of colour in movies, (b) define the main tasks of the colourists and the necessary tools to perform these tasks, (c) describe and analyse the right colouring material and (d) compare two of the most commonly used colour editing software products. In the practical part, two programs Davinci Resolve and Speedgrade will be compared based on selected parameters. Furthermore, there will be an analysis of the benefits of a Flat profile setting for color adjustment that is available in all DSLR cameras. This theory should be beneficial to those who are using standard digital cameras and have just started their learning about coloring. They can get knowledge of what coloring involves, what it is based on (the thesis includes a chapter of color theory), the suitable material for successful coloring and how to select the right software for their workflow.
Analysis and redesign of e-shop czech-server.cz

The aim of this thesis is to create a redesign for an e-shop czech-server.cz. This thesis deals with general knowledge regarding e-shop problematic and webdesign. Part of this thesis is also a analysis of the company´s enviroment, its competetion and its target group. Based on the findings from these sections are established recommendations and requirements which should the redesigned website company with. Subsequently are created wired models, the prototype and final graphical design of the website.
Principles of screenwriting and their application

This thesis is mainly focused on the principles of storytelling through film that can be adapted into screenplay. It acquaints one with the paradigm of dramatic construction along with attributes of the plot points. The paper defines character creation process, including various methods of bringing those characters to life. Furthermore, it touches upon the subject of the fundamental screenwriting rules. Theoretical knowledge is applied to developing a screenplay for a short film which shows how that knowledge can confront reality.
Visual storytelling in the audiovisual medium

This bachelor thesis concentrates on visual storytelling of a film. The aim of the paper is to summarize and present the basic methods of visual storytelling with the focus on audio-visual medium - namely a film. The paper explains the general principles of creating a film shot and cinematic composition and presents examples of their use in already existing works. The paper deals with the influence of these specific filmmaking methods on cinema audience. These methods will be afterwards practically used during the creation of my own film.
Analysis of open format videocodecs

Hypothesis of this thesis states that even though open format codecs are available for free, they are equal alternative to the patented ones. This was verified by set of objective tests. Quality of videos was measured by PSNR and SSIM methods firstly on HD 8-bit sequences with various framerate encoded by Theora, VP8, VP9, H.264 and H.265. Afterwards were codecs tested on 4K 10-bit sequence encoded by coding standards H.264, H.265 and VP9 codec to see how they will perform in future usage in UHD content distribution. Last test shows computational demands and quality in fast encoding mode. Thesis also includes overview of each codec support by ICT devices, which is not as wide as H.264's but is raising.
Process of creating a visual concept of an audiovisual work

The thesis discusses the process of creating a visual concept from the script to finished audivisual work. The theoretical part contains defenition of term audivisual work, analysis of options of visual means of expression and the ways it effects the perception of the audience. The practical part demonstrates how obtained theoretical knowleges can be applied in practice. The thesis might be used as a guide for aspiring film directors and cameramen. It also might seem interesting to movie lovers who would like to take a look on audiovisual works from the more specific perspective.
Analysis and application of production process in student film

The main theme of this thesis is the analysis and application of production process in student film. It gives a general idea of the atmosphere of student creations, especially in the area of own audiovisual work´s production. There are provided information about history, major events in the field of cinematography and about the work of different members of the film crew. The thesis describes the production process in detail and includes model examples of necessary text documents. There are also mentioned essential sections of the copyright. This document is intended for all people with the interest in fimmaking, expecially for students who will hold the post of production manager in student project.

The bachelor thesis Montage of a short film deals with the issue of editing as an instrument of the film language, which is used by an author to pass the information which supports general impression and understanding of the film. The thesis analyses the aspects which need to be considered during pre-production and filming, so that the final communication with the audience reaches desired effect. Apart from that, the thesis describes the rules which are necessary to be followed during the editing process as well as it classifies the types of montage. The analytical part demonstrates the usage of described rules and methods in practice. The goal is to evaluate how the film communicates with the audience through the montage.
Elements of Commercial Video Expression

This paper deals with the the theoretical description of fundamental elements in cinematography. The document focuses mainly on elements associated with each shot, such as the framing, camera movement, speed of motion or onscreen space as well as on the most basic rules of editing and on the relation of shot to shot. For each group of elements, gives examples of the use of these elements in real commercials videos. The theoretical part is then used to analyze short advertising video.The video is broken down into individual shots, and they are then analyzed by different groups of elements. After this analysis the work brings the synthesis of analyzed data from shots and then, conclusions are drawn about the quality and quantity of basic elements in the analyzed commercial video. The last part of the paper deals with concept of promotional videos for a wedding agency and the entire document concludes in storyboard for pre-wedding spot.
