Use of project management in the construction of a concrete skatepark

This bachelors thesis focuses on an application of project management methods in one specific project which is a construction of a concrete skatepark. The aim of this thesis is to plan the project, so that it would be in accordance with time, cost and resources restrictions. Another goal is to analyse risks, which might appear during the project. The theoretical part of the thesis contains description of chosen terms, procedures and methods which are used in project management. A solution of the construction is presented by using the MS Project software in the practical part. Time schedule is described in detail by using Gantt chart. Further, costs and resources which are needed in the course of the project are analysed. For analysing the risks, the decision tree and the decision matrix are used.

Project Management - Reconstruction of the building of a former barrack – heating system

Constructional and technological planning is an important milestone between an investment plan and its final realization. Time schedule, working plan, price, duration and quality are significant indicators in process of project planning. All of these indicators are connected to each other and only efficient project management can help to optimize them. Therefore, it represents an integrating element across the whole construction process. The objective of this bachelor thesis is to create a real project, using the MS Project, which would represent the planning and controlling of all reconstruction works of an old barrack building with the special focus on its heating system. This particular project should demonstrate the methods and principles of project management theory. In the beginning of the thesis, there are terms and methods and different models of project management presented. In the second part of the thesis the project itself is described including its analysis of duration, costs, sources and risks based on gathered data. At the end of the thesis the comparison of the designed project with the real barrack building that was already reconstructed is done.

Application of Project Management in the e-shop communication campaign

Project management methods can be used in many areas of human activity. In this diploma thesis they are applied to the creation of an e-shop communication campaign. The theoretical part describes the basic concepts of project management and presents the stages of the life cycle of the project. The main part of the theoretical part is the project planning phase with a focus on time analysis, analysis of resources, costs and risks. The described methods and analyzes are applied in the practical part to a real project - the communication campaign of the newly created e-shop Motovidlo.cz, which offers various printed products. The final part of the thesis deals with the success of the project, the fulfillment of the goals and recommendations for the project team.

Project management – Detached House Construction

This thesis focuses on project management and its practical application to a specific case. The goal of the submitted thesis is to plan the realization of construction of detached house in cooperation with construction company Movis Hronov, s.r.o. and to put forward a time schedule, which will effectively use company employees during the whole project. The first part introduces basic terms and findings of the project management theory and defines procedures and theories of chosen methods to perform analysis of time schedule, costs, risk and sources. The second part focuses on the application of corresponding analyses in the process of detached house construction, which aims to create a time schedule of the whole project and performance of individual analyses in order to obtain an overview of duration of the project, costs drawing and work sources planning during the whole construction. The analyses were carried out using Microsoft Office Project.

The bachelor thesis entitled Using methods of project management for the Foundation of the International School in the Czech Republic -Project AGBS deals with theoretical and practicalaspects of project management. In the theoretical part, basic concepts and methods are explained. In the introduction of practical part, the real project is described. The next part is a description of the specific phases and the schedule. Further, the project timeline is shown in Gantt chart with critical path. Analysis of time, sources and cost analysis was carried out through using MS Project. In the conclusion, risks, threats and evaluation of the project are described.

This bachelor thesis deals with the management of a project entitled Start-up of clinical trials in the Czech republic. Methods and tools of project management are applied to provide the project s analysis. In the practical part the project is firstly described. The description includes the project s environment, the scope and targets and the basic activities. Activities and finally the whole project are analysed by MS Project (considering costs, time, resources). The analyses are described in relation to the theoretical part of the thesis. In the theoretical part the basic terms, methods and analyses are described. The project is planned to meet the general requirements in clinical trials in the Czech republic.

Practical application of project management with using of multiple-criteria decision analysis

This bachelor thesis intends to deal with theoretical and applied aspects of project management. The first, theoretical part will describe the basic principles and methods which are used in the field, as well as the basic theory necessary for a proper understanding of the issues, including the theory of multi-criteria decision analysis. Then functioning of a computer program, Microsoft Project, will by described. It is now a standard tool used in project management and it will be used in the second part, which will deal with applications of project management for the planned opening of a branch of stores with health food and dietary supplements, when our aim will be to compare possible variants of the project and obtain a full picture on time and investment demands of such a project, on the risks associated with it and then get a clear visualization of the timetable of activities as a Gantt chart.

Bachelor thesis "Application of project management for organizing a music festival" focuses on the theory and practice of project management. The first part introduces the essential knowledge of graph theory. The second part deals with methods and tools for project management. The main section is a practical part, where gained knowledge is implemented to the project management of the music festival Indie Sessions. The whole problem is transferred to the MS Project software through which various analyzes are carried out, such as cost, time, risk or source analyzes. The entire project is displayed using the Gantt chart.

This bachelor's thesis deals with theory and practise of project management. The first part is focused on basic knowledge of graph theory, which is important for next reading. Afterwards there is explanation of project management, its methods and procedures. The main part of the thesis is application of project management for organization of sports and cultural event, which celebrates the 80th anniversary of founding of Sport Club in Ronov nad Doubravou. Firstly the project is created using MS Project 2010 and then the project is analysed for time, resources, costs and risks. The emphasis is on finding of the date of project's beginning and on financial evaluation.

This bachelor's thesis deals with an application of project management during the reconstruction of a primary building. The theoretical part is focused on basic concepts of project management, models and methods. Practical advice on how such a project can be successfully accomplished will be included. The practical part is focused on establishing a real project in project's timeline with suitable software and costs analysis attached. The timeline can be described by Gantt chart, where critical path is provided. At the end of this thesis I will analyze the project, because the reconstruction was realized in the past.
