WebGL
Pecha, Jan ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (advisor) ; Mazánek, Petr (referee)
This thesis analyzes current possibilities of displaying 3D graphics on the internet. Its main objective is to analyze and to define basic features of a modern WebGL standard for inter-active 2D and 3D graphics on web. In addition, popular helpful frameworks implementing this standard are described and many simple examples are created to demonstrate their applications. This thesis also informs about practical usages of WebGL in many industries.
Design patterns in PHP
Škovran, Jan ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (advisor) ; Mazánek, Petr (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to explore the supportability of paradigms of object-oriented programming and functional programming, and the possibilities of implementation of design patterns in PHP language. The chosen design patterns are implemented in simple examples with code samples. Based on this information, suggestions for PHP course improvements at University of Economics are offered.
Methodology of web application development in small team
Cikánek, Svatopluk ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (advisor) ; Mazánek, Petr (referee)
The topic of this master thesis is design of appropriate methodology for software develop-ment with specific requirements put by a development team and following use of chosen methodology in practice. Designed methodology should be applicable especially for startups and school projects. Within this thesis is described several methodologies of which author picks the most suitable one for a project and customize several of its parts. The cho-sen methodology is tested on a project of web application for electronic records of sales. After the project ends, methodology is evaluated and suggested changes are described. Outcome of this master thesis is methodology usable in practice and application which fully meets the requirements given by law.
System for theses management
Petrášek, Roman ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (advisor) ; Mazánek, Petr (referee)
The thesis deals with analysis, design, implementation, testing and documentation of a web application. The purpose of the application is to make a theses management easier. An introductory part of the thesis contains summary of insufficient existing applications which were mostly created within theses of VŠE. Subsequently there are analyzed functional and non-functional system requirements in the thesis. Analysis of corporate applications, which may to help improve theses management, is included in the part too. Based on the analysis, it was decided, that it is necessary to develop a new system. For this reason, there is analysis and design of the system as a next part of the thesis. A user's guide and a programmer's guide are integral to the thesis because these parts describe the ways of utilization of application.
Configurable information system
Kokeš, Petr ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (advisor) ; Mazánek, Petr (referee)
The topic of the master thesis is focused on the design of information system which is designed on the base of the analysis of existing information systems available in the Czech Republic. This analysis is focused on finding uncovered areas. Evaluation of information systems is based on a multicriterial selection analysis, which can specify a minimally covered area. The aim of the master thesis is to show undiscovered possibilities of information systems maintaining the various types of information. The first part is focused to characteristics of information systems, its kinds and types. This part is focused to architecture and to methods of information systems design, too. The second part is focused on analysis of the existing information systems. The aim is to identify areas that are not sufficiently covered. The third part is focused on design of an information system based on the analysis of uncovered areas in the first part. In the last section is documentation of created an information system.
Design and create web portal for professor
Kokeš, Petr ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (advisor) ; Mazánek, Petr (referee)
The bachelor thesis is focused for designing customers websites by requirements. There is analyzed in my bachelor thesis current websites environment from two points of view from the point of view of the web application and from the point of view of the server environ-ment. To develop an application there is an extensive analysis of current web development trends. The Aim of bachelor thesis is to design and create functional web portal based on the conclusions of the above analysis. The Target -- create a web portal -- is achieved by programming the application using CodeIgniter framework. I compiled the analysis how each web technology works and what is its main idea to use. The Assessment of specified requirements and comparison of all advantages of frameworks and editorial systems leads me to the decision to use framework "CodeIgniter". The contri-bution of the bachelor thesis is the implementation of a web application with function re-mote off-line administration using a desktop application. This all complement user manu-al.
Building web apppliacation using framework Symfony
Dočkal, Jan ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (advisor) ; Mazánek, Petr (referee)
This thesis is aimed to build web based application using framework Symfony. The main goal is to compare Grails, Play, Zend, Nette and Node.JS frameworks and demonstrate its differences. These frameworks can be found in thesis of Kadlec, Odehnal and Kočárek. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is about basic principles. The practical part contains web application based on the Odehnal's proposal and his demands. Every single thesis is based on the Odehnal. The description of framework is divided into more parts. The first part is about fundamental differences of platforms. Next part is describing framework architecture. The output of third part is comparison of frameworks. Evaluation criteria of comparision are given by Odehnal and personal assessment of the problem. In the last part is comparison of documentation, support, literature and usage. The final output of the thesis is comparison of six frameworks including web application. It allows readers to create it's own opinion. And it helps to facilitates selection between them.
System for theses management
Havlíček, Jiří ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (advisor) ; Mazánek, Petr (referee)
This thesis deals with the analysis, design and final implementation of information system for thesis management. In the introduction the theoretical background is defined and avail-able technologies are identified and later practically used within the implementation. Fur-ther, the functional and non-functional demands are identified, use case scenarios defined and later on the system is designed and implemented. The requirements are defined based on the universal use within the use cases of the University of Economics in Prague. Within the last part, a user manual can be found.
Thesis Management System
Ristić, Marko ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (advisor) ; Mazánek, Petr (referee)
This master's thesis deals with finding a solution to shortcomings in the information system ISIS regarding the process of theses supervision. Firstly the current state is analyzed to identify specific functional requirements for thesis management system. Based on analysis of existing and potentially suitable solutions, the decision to develop a new program was made. Therefore, other chapters are devoted to the design and development of the program. The user's guide describing use of the final system is also part of this thesis.
Comparison of web application development in Nette Framework (PHP) and Node.JS
Kočárek, Michal ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (advisor) ; Mazánek, Petr (referee)
The thesis is concerned with comparison of web application development platforms, namely Nette Framework on PHP platform and platform Node.JS. The objective is to provide complex picture of differences between the frameworks. Previous theses compared Grails framework on Java platform, Zend Framework on PHP platform and ASP.NET MVC platform. This thesis builds upon them thus provides comparison of five different platforms for web application development. As a part of the thesis, I developed two web applications. One is in Nette Framework in PHP and one is in Node.JS. Their purpose is to be main source of information for the comparison. Furthermore, beginning developer learning new platform can use them as a study material. They can also help to examine platform differences. Applications I developed meet same user requirements as the applications contained in previous theses. Therefore it is possible to compare all five applications on five platforms with each other. The platforms are compared in several areas. First area focuses on fundamental platform differences. Second area is more theoretical. It concerns the platform architecture. Platforms are judged by amount of the support for Martin Fowler's architectonical patterns. Next area concerns platforms' usage during the web application development. There are both objective criteria as well as subjective evaluation based on the application development included. The last area compares available support of the platforms. Thesis provides complex comparison of five different platforms by same criteria. Developed web applications, based on same requirements, are also a benefit. Potential reader can form her own judgement based on the differences in implementation of same functionality she founds on different platforms.
