Thermal overload trip unit in electrical switching devices

This bachelor thesis revolves around a time dependent thermal overload trip unit inside automated switching mechanisms. The first part addresses the principle of the function of a thermal overcurrent trip unit and the possible construction solutions. The biggest emphasis is given to bimetal as a base construction feature of the thermal overcurrent trip unit. Besides the materials that are most suitable for the creation of bimetal, various bimetal parameters that are needed for its design are also analyzed. The next subject of the thesis is an introduction to the elemental calculations for the bimetal component and the summary of mathematical relations for the calculation of the most commonly used solutions. A predominant part of this thesis revolves around the theoretical calculation of the thermal overload trip in a previously estabilished circuit breaker for a specific type of the bimetal and a specific required tripping characteristic. The previously estabilished calculation is then verified by measuring. The measuring itself consists of the measurement of the free bending of the bimetal in dependence on heat. The last part of this thesis includes the assessment of the results calculated from the theoretical standpoint, compared with the results given by the measurement.

Title: Sport performance structure analysis of men's disciplines K1 1000 and 500 meters in flatwater sprint canoeing. Objectives: The aim of this research is to determine relationships between general condition factors of sport performance and the top level of sport performance in individual mens' disciplines at 1000 and 500 meters in flatwater sprint canoeing. Methods: To determine statistical dependance between sport performance at individual disciplines of 1000 or 500 meters and choosen factors of sport performance, the correlation research was used. As a variable-dependent values, the final results of sport performance at 1000 and 500 meters were used. As a variable-independent values, the final results of testing parameters were used. To determine the statistical dependance methods of Pearson's and Spearman's correlation coefficients were used. Principal component analysis and factor analysis are a multivariate statistical methods which are used to reduce entered data - entry of variable values in a way of expressing the included infomation by a smaller amount of variable values which are being grouped into components. Název práce: Pokus o analýzu struktury sportovního výkonu v rychlostní kanoistice v disciplíně Kl 1000 m muži. Title: Attempt to analysis of sport performance structure in flatwater canoeing in the discipline ofKl men 1000 m. Cíle práce: Hlavním cílem této diplomové práce je zjistit, jaké vztahy mají jednotlivé faktory struktury sportovního výkonu k výkonnosti vrcholových kajakářů v disciplíně Kl 1000 metrů. Metody zpracování dat: Práce je založena na korelačním výzkumu - jako závisle proměnnou hodnotu jsme použili výsledný čas sportovního výkonu na trati 1000 metrů, nezávisle proměnné jsou výsledné hodnoty jednotlivých parametrů testových baterií, kterými jsme zjišťovali kvalitu jednotlivých faktorů. Pro zjištění statistické závislosti mezi sportovním výkonem na trati 1000 metrů a jednotlivými faktory sportovního výkonu byl použit Pearsonův korelační koeficient, regresní analýzu a shlukovou analýzu. Výsledky: Znalost struktury sportovního výkonu ve vybrané sportovní disciplíně umožňuje při porovnání s poznatky v literatuře zlepšovat práci trenérů, zkvalitňovat tréninkový proces a tím zvýšit sportovní výkonnost v příslušné disciplíně.
