The lay apostolate in the spirituality of the third Carmelite order

ENGLISH ANNOTATION The Lay Apostolate of the Third Carmelite Order Spirituality The Second Vatican Council came up with a new interpretation of the layperson as well as the lay apostolate. Every person of the people of God, i.e. a layperson too, shares responsibility for the redemptive mission of the whole Church. The task of the members of the Third Carmelite Order is to live the charism of Carmel in the world, the apostolate being a part of their spirituality. The fundamental and also specific feature of the apostolate of the Third Carmelite Order is the contemplative attitude, taken and lived in normal life conditions, in the world. Every their prayer, service, testimony as well as community result from the experience of contemplation. All of these features are typical of the Carmelite charism. They also represent a specific form or area of the apostolate of the members of the Third Carmelite Order. Keywords: HIV/AIDS, infection disease, prevention, therapy, moral theology, Christian Values The goal of the dissertation is to give some informations on ethics problems connecting with HIV/AIDS infection.Partly informing about these problems, partly solving these problems. The first chapter describes illness, its origin and history, statistic dates in the world and in our country, the way of the transmission, diagnostic and therapy of this disease and prevention. In the following part the problem of serological examination is analysed and also some problems around information about of this disease, about nursing problems and ethics aspect of HIV therapy. The right of the positive persons to get married and to give birth to a child is discussed. Finally, problematics of disease's acquirement, the process of dying and death is also discussed. I tis all reflected throw the catholic moral theology.

Subjective and objective dimension of human work: the tension in their realisation in corporate experience thesis / Tomáš Roubal The thesis deals with a situation that is relatively often and by many experienced in the current world of gainful work: the tension / conflict / ethical challenge that a human can experience and feel in his work in situations of long-term imbalance in realisation its objective and subjective side. A working man can oftentimes perceive this situation as a crisis of meaningfulness of the profession he performs and therefore also as an insistent question of his own value. The view of the Christian asceticism and its significance for spiritual life by St. Teresa of Jesus

The purpose of the work is to introduce the conception of the Christian asceticism and its significance for spiritual life by St. Teresa of Jesus. The work is defined by three main writings of St. Teresa: The Book of Life, The Way of Perfection and The Internal Castle. The subject analysis is the Teresa's life, intellectual reflection and her specific advices. The following areas structure the scheme of the work: Teresa's ascetic formation, ascetic reform program and Teresean asceticism prayer. The differentiation of active and passive asceticism and its presence in her writings has been established as the theoretical base of the whole work. This methodology is used to analyse Teresa's expressions of spiritual life and her science. The ascetic formation is followed in her two living stages, firstly before entering the Monastery of the Incarnation and then at the Monastery of the Incarnation. The ascetic program of reform presents Teresean triada which includes love of neighbour, detachment and humility. The last part of the work deals with Teresean asceticism prayer, where the basic aspects of her prayer are introduced. Resumé in English Ethical aspects of prenatal diagnostics Currently, parents who plan to have a child are offered a number of diagnostic techniques to get information whether the ontogeny of the child is in accordance with ever more precisely specified biological criteria. This offer inherently includes particular risks of selection and, therefore, a range of internationally acknowledged recommendations on performing prenatal diagnostics has been set. The study includes a detailed description of available methods of prenatal diagnostics and assesses them according to the following ethical criteria: the integrity of human life, the life is more then its quality, non maleficence, beneficience. Alternatives of Home Violence Settling as seen by the Roman Catholic Church

My dissertation Alternatives of Home Violence Settling deals with various alternatives of how the home violence problems can be settled. The introductory chapter goes through the professional interpretation of the home violence term as well as causes, forms and specific signs of this violence type, being followed by description of its consequences and the myths which have gained a foothold in the general public. The home violence is characterized as a long-term, repeated and escalating physical, mental, or sexual cruelty to persons living in the common household; it takes place between close persons, adult family members, or also life partners. The victims, being exposed to long-term violence, lost their self-confidence, however, their fear and confusion increase; they also suffer from a good many various symptoms as depression, shame, decline of general state of health, or increased suicidal behavior. Chapter two focuses on the characterization of the home violence victims and delinquests as well. As to the victims, these can be everybody, irrespective of their education, age, social position or economic situation - women, seniors and handicapped persons as well as men. ETIC IMPLICATIONS OF COMMANDMENT OF LOVE ACCORDING TO VERITATIS SPLENDOR AND DEUS CARITAS EST Comparation of interpretations of universal etic norm by John Paul II and Benedict XVI in quoted encyclicals The purpose of my thesis is to analyse and compare Veritatis splendor and Deus caritas est in order to defend the basic statement that the commandment of love is the only one norm of the christian etics and every other norm is based on it. A complex of questions comes out from the interpretation of the commandment of love and it can be divided into two branches 'why' and 'how'. There are three main reasons why to live under the commandment: love is aim of liberty, love fulfils the law, love has its origin in the truth. The love according to these three columns leads to salvation. The answer how to live under commandment of love is in the following of the example of Jesus Christ. The analytic and the synthetic part of my thesis are framed into seven themes: 1) Love, 2) Neighbour, 3) Commandment of love, 4) Law, 5) Liberty, 6) Truth, 7) Following. Charismas, their recognition and their role in the life of the Church

The Diploma work explores and develops one of the many gifts of the Holy Spirit, that Catholic Church has like a treasure, and it is charisma. Many times in the Church or outside the Church a man can encounter with a negative attitude when the concept of charismas is mentioned, because many people do not know the true meaning and purpose of these gifts of the Holy Spirit. The purpose of the Diploma work is to raise in a simplicity the main issues of the topic and to offer answers to certain questions connected with the exposing of authenticity of this gift, which the Saint Paul is writing about. In the first part the Diploma work deals with the main attitudes of the Catholic Church towards charismas from the perspective of what Holy Scripture and Catechism of the Catholic Church says on the charismas. The Diploma work efforts to develop a spiritual knowledge of charismas, their authenticity and also a danger of sliding out of the Church. The Mystical path of St. Teresa of Jesus: reflection in the Czech environment since 1900 to the present

Saint Teresa of Jesus, the Spanish mystic of 16th century and the Carmelite order reformer presents the doctrine of internal prayer and all its stages in her works based on own personal experience of life with the God. The intention of this work is to analyze Teresa's mystical path as a process of spiritual life with various stages of transformation. It will deal with what it means to be united with the God for the human life in Teresa's conception. It will also submit how Teresa's doctrine of mystical path has been reflected in the Czech environment since 1900 to the present, respectively by Czech authors and by foreign authors of whose works were translated into the Czech language. The work will be based on the concrete text of Interior Castle, in which Teresa represents the soul with number of dwelling places. The structure will be defined by single dwelling places, which are considered the ascetic and mystical stages of the prayer. The work itself, the Interior Castle, will be introduced together with the first to third ascetic dwelling places which had been the subject of previous bachelor's work.
