Design of test equipment for testing air-cooled steam condensers
Líška, Filip ; Chýlek, Radomír (referee) ; Kracík, Petr (advisor)
The work is focused on the design of a testing device for testing air-cooled condenser tubes. At the beginning of work are described basic types of industrial air condensers, possibilities of tube types and their materials. A radial fan that will supply cooling air to the wind tunnel is already purchased for the testing device. For minimum and maximum parameters, the basic geometry and state parameters are first proposed. Subsequently, the basic design was tested in the CFD. The result of the first model was not satisfying because the speed field has not been evenly changed to a straight tunnel. For these conditions, several variants have been tested in the second model, and the "blow" on the tubes inside the wind tunnel has been tested for the best variant.
The Agrarian Philosophy of Alfons Ferdinand Št'astný
LIŠKA, Filip
In the second half of the 19th century, in Padařov in South Bohemian region, we could meet one prominent person of that time. Alfons Ferdinand Šťastný was a philosopher, atheist, politician and farmer. He became most famous in the agricultural field as the father of Czech agrarianism. However, the political organization of farmers and agrarian philosophy are only part of his life. Šťastný, however, went through several schools of thought during his life. He first entered the public consciousness, mainly thanks to his sharp attitude towards religion. However, he also acted in other cultural areas. In the period of his cosmopolitanism, for example, he promoted an idea of international language or even the creation of a common European state.

Liška, Filip ; Činátl, Kamil (advisor) ; Jareš, Jakub (referee)
In the last few years, the number of events, happenings, and other inputs in the public space aiming on commemorating history has distinctly grown. This master thesis tracks these current trends on a few concrete examples of events (e. g. Moon50: Back to the Moon, Milada 70, Korzo Národní) in the Czech environment, whereas it focuses in particular on actions of activist provenance. How do these events work with history and how do they interpret it? What meaning and function do historical events carry in the public space? Which remembrance practices are link with them? To these questions and many others, the thesis presents hypothesis supported by the qualitative analysis of outputs, production, and commentaries of the creators of the individual events. In the case of methodology, the thesis is based on theories of memory studies and public history.

This bachelor's thesis focuses on problematics of oral history. It compares several different approaches and tracks the function of the testimonies of witnesses in the public space. The work is based mainly on qualitative analysis of interviews with key representants of oral history practice from non-profit and academic sector. On this basis the work presents hypotheses about the meaning of oral history in public space, respectively the meaning of contemporary history, and the efficiency of oral history in terms of theory and practice.
Greeping Campaign: Function of the Red Law before the 1946 Election
Liška, Filip ; Groman, Martin (advisor) ; Knapík, Jiří (referee)
The elections in Czechoslovakia in 1946 were the first free elections after World War II and also the last before the onset of the communist dictatorship. And these elections granted the strongest position to the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia (KSČ), which soonly exploited this advantage in the year of 1948. My thesis will concentrate on the influence of the party newspaper of KSČ Rudé právo on the decision making of the citizens. I will present short insight into the then political and social situation, but my thesis will exclusively deal with the analysis of that times articles from the pre-election period. The aim of the thesis is to show what kind of a media campaign was conducted by KSČ on the pages of Rudé právo.
