Anotation The prevalence of domestic violence in the Czech Republic makes it necessary to raise awareness of this issue on a society-wide scale. This bachelor thesis focuses on a preventive happening called Bubnovačka, which aims to highlight the issue of domestic violence and open a society-wide discussion. The theoretical part deals with the definition of the non-profit sector, marketing communication in non-profit organizations, as well as domestic violence and its prevention. The non-profit organization Centrum LOCIKA and the preventive happening Bubnovačka are presented, as well as other preventive events and programs with similar themes. In the practical part, qualitative research was conducted, specifically semi-structured interviews. First, the research methodology and data analysis procedure were described in detail and then the research results and their interpretation are presented. The aim of the research was to find out the implications of the communication strategy of the Bubnovačka 2022 happening from the teachers' perspective. The sub-objectives included finding out what motivated educators to participate, how they evaluated the communication of the event and the information received, how the event was specifically implemented and what consequences participation in the happening brought.
