PLC systems in education process
Král, Radek ; Ctibor, Jiří (referee) ; Červinka, Dalibor (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with programmable logic controllers for teaching. The thesis is divided into six chapters. The first chapter describes the basic programming languages as well as their resolution with graphical preview. The second chapter deals with programming environment GX Works2 from Mitsubishi Electric. Chapters three and four describe the SoMachine programming environment from Schneider Electric and Automation Studio from B&R. The fifth chapter of this bachelor thesis compares individual programming environments from the perspective of a common user. Nine laboratory tasks are proposed in the final part. For each lab task, a lab tutorial is created, and for most, an example of a logical program and visualizations.
High-speed outer rotor synchronous machine
Král, Radek ; Knebl, Ladislav (referee) ; Klíma, Petr (advisor)
The master thesis deals with the construction and design of a high-speed synchronous machine with an outer rotor. The thesis is organised into three main chapters. The first chapter deals with machine design theory as well as mechanical limits, which are significant for high speed machines. This chapter also provides examples of applications of these electrical machines. In the second chapter, the initial design of the machine is calculated analytically. This machine design is optimised and the third chapter of this work shows the results of simulations using the finite elements method, including the evaluation of these results.
The Application of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union by Administrative Courts in France and in the Czech Republic: Comparative Analysis
Mádr, Petr ; Král, Richard (advisor) ; de la Rosa, Stéphan (referee) ; Sehnálek, David (referee)
Title and Abstract: The Application of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union by Administrative Courts in France and in the Czech Republic: Comparative Analysis This thesis contributes to filling the gap in empirical research on the application of the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights by ordinary national courts, choosing Czech and French administrative courts as its focus. It builds on and goes beyond the existing literature by developing a coherent narrative centred around three key themes in the decision-making of Czech and French administrative courts: the Charter's applicability, its role in the reasoning and its interactions with other legal rules, such as EU secondary legislation, the ECHR and national constitutions. The primary aim is to gather data on when and how these courts give effect to the Charter in their decision-making and to evaluate this data from the three perspectives mentioned. The evaluation is made from two complementary angles. First, and unsurprisingly, it will concern itself with the extent to which national courts comply with the obligations imposed on them by the Charter and EU law. Secondly, and more originally, it will identify patterns in the Charter's treatment by national courts and offer explanations for such patterns. More specifically, it will propose a...

Book of abstracts of the 1st outdoor seminar of the Department of Optical Materials: Advances in the new materials engineering and study
Buryi, Maksym ; Král, Robert
The seminar is dedicated to the main activities of the department of Optical Materials, FZU - Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences in the course of national and international collaborations. In particular, the advanced methods of the (nano)materials synthesis, fabrication, and characterization are presented and discussed in detail. The aim of the seminar is to establish more of the effective paths of communication and data exchange by creating and maintaining links among the teams of national and international experts in various fields of physical and chemical knowledge, both experimental and theoretical.
Multi-channel power distribution unit

This semestral thesis focuses on electrical design of a power supply controlle, able to independently controll multiple power outputs. Described are main components, process of choosing components and systematic view of inner connection of this device. Thesis contains theoretical introduction into power supplies such as AC/DC converters with focu on switch-mode converters and DC/DC converters. Brief overview of semiconductor components is included.
Takeover of the European Union law into the legal orders of the European Free Trade Association Member States
Spousta, Ondřej ; Pítrová, Lenka (advisor) ; Král, Richard (referee)
Takeover of the European Union law into the legal orders of the European Free Trade Association Member States Abstract This thesis deals with the European Free Trade AssociationMember States' approaches to the European integration and examines primarily its legal aspects. The four states, consisting of Iceland, Lichtenstein, Norway and Switzerland, endeavour especially to participate in the EU's internal market, what they reach by two different tools. Meanwhile to the three first- mentionedstates were e.g.the so-called"Four Freedoms" of the single market extendedthrough the Agreement on the European Economic Area (EEA), which apart from these countries comprises of EU Member States, Switzerland took its own, specific path of sectoral bilateral agreements, which it concluded with the European Union, eventual also with EU countries. The thesis first deals with the history and functioning of the EFTA, which is common to all four states and then analyses at first the EEA law model and afterwards the Swiss bilateral agreements, evaluating both regimes in relation to each other. The thesis in both cases of integrationshows the scope of cooperation, its institutional frameworkandalsothe procedures, through which the EFTA States take over the EU law. It also reveals whether and in what ways the EFTA States can...
The nutritional assesment of juvenile football players
KRÁL, Robert
The topic of the bachelor thesis is " The nutritional assesment of juvenile football players ". The emphasis on sports performance is placed on young sportsmen from an early age, which includes adequate nutrition. If this is not the case, the young athlete is at risk of problems manifested by poor performance, more frequent injuries and, last but not least, irreversible changes or developmental disorders. The theoretical part deals with energy overview, the representation and importance of macronutrients and micronutrients in the diet, drinking regime, problems of insufficient nutrition, assessment of nutritional status and finally dietary supplements. The data collection was done using a qualitative method. 12 informants were obtained using the snowball method, which was interviewed in a semi-structured interview. Each informant also provided a diet plan. Data analysis was performed using coding and categorization techniques on the data transcribed from the interview. Nutriservis Professional software was used to process the diet plan. The objectives of the study were to map the nutritional status and possible prevalence of malnutrition in the sports soccer players and to map the awareness of children and their parents about sports nutrition in the senior pre-school and junior football category. The research showed that the dietary habits of young footballers follow the recommendations of the child nutrition in terms of quality but not in terms of quantity. Children's awareness of the timing of meals with physical activity and energy use during exercise is significantly lacking. Awareness of nutrition is relatively adequate for their age and they can partially distinguish what is appropriate for them and what is not. Parents are well informed about healthy eating and lifestyle and try to take an interest in nutrition themselves, but do not have comprehensive adequate information about sports nutrition in childhood.
