Mejzrová, Adéla ; Kozáková, Alena (advisor) ; Kolbová, Kateřina (referee)
Characteristics: This diploma thesis deals with the issue of gym terminology. The gymnastic terminology is one of the means of communication with students in physical education, through which we fulfil pedagogical goals. By using PE vocabulary we expand the vocabulary of the pupils and reduce the percentage of wasted time. The history of this terminology, its systematics and its importance in practice are characterized. The thesis also deals with the framework educational programmes and school curricula. Furthermore, the theoretical part of the thesis characterizes the main professional skill of a teacher, namely communication. Objectives and Perspectives: The main aim of the thesis is to create a questionnaire survey that addresses the issue of the use of gym terminology in school physical education. Obtained replies are used to assess the current state of the use of PE terminology in selected primary schools. Methods: The main research method was the questionnaire method. Non-standardized questionnaires with closed and open questions were used for PE teachers of primary schools. 101 teachers who teach physical education at primary school participated in the survey. The results were processed and evaluated using Microsoft Excel and Statistica 12. Keywords: Gymnastics, gymnastics terminology,...
Development of flexibility in young school gymnasts
Rogozová, Lucie ; Kozáková, Alena (advisor) ; Černá, Jana (referee)
Title: Development of flexibility in young school gymnasts Objectives: The main objective of this work is to create an intervention program focused on developing flexibility for young school-age female gymnasts, and to practice exercises for a period of 3 months during training. Methods: For the purpose of this bachelor thesis, we selected 5 tests from the file of the International Gymnastics Federation. The participants were measured at the beginning of the testing period (March) and then again at the end of the testing period (May). For a period of 3 months, they incorporated exercises from the intervention program into their training sessions, aiming to improve their range of motion Results: The created intervention program had a positive impact on the development of flexibility. Tested girls improved their scores in all 5 tested exercises after the three-month intervention, thus enhancing their level of flexibility. Keywords: gymnastics, artistic gymnastic, young school age, flexibility, intervention
Assessment of the motor abilities of gymnasts and girls from school TV through individual Eurofit tests
Pojezná, Anna ; Kozáková, Alena (advisor) ; Kolbová, Kateřina (referee)
Tite: Assessment of motor abilities of gymnasts and girls from school PE throught Eurofit tests. Aims: The aim of the work was to assess the level of motor skills in girls of younger school age who were tested using selected Eurofit tests. The theoretical part of the work deals with motor skills, the characteristics of gymnastics, the content of school TV and describes the concept of versatility. The research part focuses on comparing the level of motor skills in the tested girls. The results are presented graphically and in tables. Methods of work: The bachelor's thesis was processed as a quantitative research. 16 girls of younger school age were tested. The girls were tested with selected motor tests from the Eurofit test battery. Basic statistical analysis was used to process the collected data. Results: It is clear from the results that girls engaged in sports gymnastics and in whose training elements of versatility are included have a better level of motor skills than girls who encountered gymnastics only through physical education. Key words: motor skills, versatility, sports gymnastics, younger school age, physical education, testing, test battery
Diagnosis and analysis of lower limb muscles of acrobatic rock and roll dancers
Palivcová, Nikola ; Kozáková, Alena (advisor) ; Kolbová, Kateřina (referee)
Title: Diagnosis and Analysis of Lower Limb Muscles in Acrobatic Rock and Roll Dancers Objectives: The aim of the thesis is to determine the occurence of possible muscle imbalances, lateral and functional asymmetries in acrobatic rock and roll dancers which may be caused by unilateral loading in this sport and based on diagnostics and training recommendations to prevent the risk of injury or damage the musculoskeletal system. Methods: The final thesis is processed as an observational case study and the project is implemented as quantitative research using paired comparison. The results are statistically processed and interpreted using descriptive analysis. The main method of measurement is isokinetic dynamometry on the Humac Norm Dynamometer. Results: Based on the individual measurement results and the subsequent statistical evaluation of the data, the research question is answered: "Due to unilateral loading in acrobatic rock and roll dancers muscle imbalances and lateral and functional asymmetries in the muscles of the lower limbs arise." At the beginning of the research three hypotheses were established, first was confirmed, the lowest flexion-extension symmetry was 17 % in the left limb. The second hypothesis was also confirmed, the highest extension value of the left limb was 171 Nm, while the...
Case Study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient with the diagnosis of Low back pain
Flasarová, Klára ; Křížková, Štěpánka (advisor) ; Kozáková, Alena (referee)
Title: Case Study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient with the diagnosis of Low back pain. Author: Klára Flasarová Aim: Summary of theoretical findings, the study methodology, physiotherapy care, treatment design and monitoring of the patient with the diagnosis of Low back pain. Methods: This study was a retrieval of a case study in professional practice, held from January 23, 2012 to February 19, 2012 at the Oblastní nemocnice Kladno. The work is divided into two parts - general and special. The first (general) part deals with the theoretical knowledge of the axial system in terms of anatomy, biomechanics and kinesiology, includes information about possibilities of physiotherapy practice and testing at a time when surgery is not indicated and conservative treatment is possible. Second (special) case report describes part of physiotherapy treatment of patients with Low back pain and proposes course of therapy and evaluated its effects. Therapy were starting during the hospitalization tha patient on the neurogical department. The next therapy and final examination were done after the patient's discharge to homecare. Results: Patient's clinical condition significantly differed before treatment and after therapy. The main indicator for us was the level of pain, which in the course of therapy varied...
Children's asthma bronchiale
Kozáková, Alena ; Hošková, Blanka (advisor) ; Benešová, Hana (referee)
Title ofthe work: Children's asthma bronchiale Purpose ofthe work To verify, experimentally, the in:fluence ofthe exercise treatment and ball facilitation with the peak flow values measured by the peak-flow metre upon children with asthma bronchiale. To verify, clinically, the influence ofthe exercise treatment upon the gait of children with asthma bronchiale. Evaluation ofthe e:ffect ofthe exercise treatment will be verified by the Klein and Thomas method modified by Mayer. Themethod The work is carried out on the basis ofa case study; what is studied is the interaction ofeach individua! with the proposed program. This progrom should have a positive impact on the state oftheir health. The thesis consists oftwo parts: theoretical and practical. The fonner is based on an earlier survey, which was elaborated in the bachelor thesis and has recently been extended with further theoretical knowledge. The practical part was extended with the observation method which is based on the observed values ofthe peak flow and with the number ofthe studied individuals. This part is focused on processing the individua! cases and methods. For the gait judgement the Klein and Thomas method modified by Mayer was used. Further, the ball facilitation by Jebavá was applied and the posture examination as well as the...

Title: Case study of physiotherapy treatment of patient with the posttraumatic paresis n. peroneus communis dx. Objectives: Gain of theoretical knowledge about peripheral paresis, especially peripheral paresis n. peroneus communis dx. Subsequent case study formulation of patient with selected diagnosis made during coherent scholarly practice. Methods: The theoretical part of this bachelor thesis contains theoretical knowledge about anatomy of peripheral nervous system of the lower extremities, the clinical image of the peripheral paresis ane the treatment with sequential therapy. Results: Increase of muscle strenght in weakened muscels, improvement of movement range, elimination of reflective changes and restoration of joint play. Conclusion: Indikation of physiotherapy is very important in the treatment of peripheral paresis. Keywords: peripheral paresis, n.peroneus, physiotherapy
