Koudelka, Pavel ; Finfrle, Pavel (advisor) ; Mandl, Petr (referee)
The supplementary pension insurance with state contribution is a specific product of our insurance market which fulfills the definition of the insurance contract according to the International Accounting Standards in almost all cases. This diploma thesis describes the pension insurance in the Czech Republic and the present state and plans of the International Accounting Standards for accounting concerning insurance contracts { specially accounting concerning fair value of liabilities. Further, we mentioned the risk neutral approach which has been used for pricing of nancial market instruments for a quite long time. This is the basis for the suggested model of the fair value calculation of the liabilities of a pension fund where two-factor model of the instantaneous intensity of the interest rate is used.
Fertility changes in the context of gender revolution with focus on the man's role in the family in the Czech Republic

Title: Fertility changes in the context of gender revolution with focus on the man's role in the family in the Czech republic Author: Mgr. Pavel Koudelka Department: Department of Demography and Geodemography Statistics Supervisor: Prof. RNDr. Jitka Rychtaříková, CSc. Abstract: Profound changes are occurring in the relations between men and women in European families and societies, a transformation that is referred to as the 'gender revolution'. Considering the unprecedented drop in fertility, some important questions may be asked: in a more egalitarian society/family, could we expect a rise in the birth rate? Does men's participation in housework and child- care have an impact on the number of children born (in a family)? Czech society is slowly adapting to gender equality, but this is more apparent in the general mood and opinions than in the reality of households and families. We drew on two waves of a panel study Generations & Gender Survey (GGS) performed in the Czech republic and compared the information about the real involvement of men in households in which (a number of) children were born in between the waves. This is an advantage of GGS over similar studies: we have information about real- ity, real facts, and not only values and attitudes to gender equality or the number of children a...

Kumpová, Ivana ; Fíla, Tomáš ; Koudelka, Petr ; Rozsypalová, I. ; Keršner, Z. ; Kytýř, Daniel ; Vopálenský, Michal ; Vavřík, Daniel ; Vyhlídal, M. ; Drdácký, Miloš
The paper presents the study of the internal structure and fracture properties of selected quasi-brittle building materials subjected to temperature changes and the possibility of applying the method combining bending fracture tests and time-dependent computed tomography (4D CT). The tested specimens were subjected to hightemperature effects and subsequently tested by a four-point bending during 4D CT. Thus, 3D image information was obtained in different phases of loading and material damage. Comparative compression strength measurements were also performed. These results are in good agreement

V závěru práce zkoumáme citlivost hodnoty aktuálního obchodu vzhledem ke změně jednotlivých parametr· navrženého modelu a diskutujeme možnost jejich ovlivnění z pohledu pojiš'ovny. Klíčová slova: ocenění portfólia, hodnota aktuálního obchodu, bootstrap, neživotní pojištění, Solvency II 1

Koudelka, Pavel ; Velímský, Tomáš (referee) ; Bobková, Lenka (advisor)
Our work deals with the old Bohemian noble family of Waldstein. In the first part it follows the family of Markwartingian, from which the Waldsteins had separated. It describes the ascension of the Markwartingians as beneficiary aristocracy during the reign of P emyslid princes and also their later acquisition of territory around the river Jizera, which they extended within the frame of medieval colonization. Our work also deals with the most important Markwartingian ecclesiastical foundation of Hradit nad Jizerou monastery. It follows the most remarkable members of Markwartingian family, among them surpassing all Havel z Lemberka and his brother Jaroslav z Hrutice, the direct ancestor of the lords of Waldstein. The second part of our work deals with genealogy of the Waldsteins family and their pro- perty. It divides the family into three basic stems, the lords of Rotstein, the lords of D tenice and the lords of Waldstein. The lords of Waldstein are then divided into three consecutive stems: that of Lomnice, that of Waldstein and that of t panice. The work also describes the gradual decay of the first two stems and, on the contrary, the increase of the last of them. The third part of the work follows the political activities of chosen members of the Wald- stein family within the Hussite wars and shortly...
