Detection of functional disorders of platelets using the PFA device in comparison with conventional aggregometry

The PFA device was introduced recently and measures closure time of capillary in a special cartridge. The measurement takes place in a whole blood sample. Aggregometer is used for stimulation of platelet aggregation by the inductors. The measurement takes place in platelet rich plasma. This work compares results of patients whose blood samples were measured on both devices. It figures out whether the results of the devices match and describes their advantages and disadvantages. The work leads to conclusion that is appropriate to use both devices for complementary results in the laboratory. Comparsion of patient samples demonstrates that patients with reduced percentage of aggregation have also prolonged capillary closure time.

Framing in news reporting regarding UKI's cease of EU membership

The goal of this diploma thesis was to find out how the Czech news media framed the topic of Brexit, or the termination of the United Kingdom's membership in the European Union during 2016. Six selected Czech newspapers and their way of framing articles dealing with the topic of Brexit were analyzed by quantitative content analysis. The shares of some media were markedly different in the publication of articles on the subject and daily Blesk was excluded from the overall ranking due to an irrelevant number of texts. This result was caused by the different focus of the content of individual diaries. Most attention was recorded during June, which was explained by a referendum on the withdrawal from the European Union that was in progress at that time in the UK. The first part of the research was mainly based on the strategic de Vreese framing and the five news frameworks by Semetko and Valkenburg. The analysis showed that both of these framing methods were applied in the reviewed period. According to the definition by de Vreese, is the strategy framework linked to the political environment and communication, which explains the application of this framing in case of Brexit as a politically significant event. Application of technical analysis in trading on stock markets

The aim was to create trading strategies in the stock inden NASDAQ Composite and comparing these trading strategies to yield market. The introductory chapters are discussed theories price behavior of the stock markets and methods to estimate future price developments. The main part of the theoretical part is focused on technical analysis and its tools. Technical analysis tools understand graphical analysis and analysis based on technical indicators, which are then used to create busi-ness strategy. In the practical part is first mentioned methodology for creating and evaluating business strategies. For creating business strategies have been selected tech-nical indicators, exponential moving average, Relative Strength Index, Com-modity Index Channel and Parabolic SAR. The last part is dedicated to a review of the trade policies compared to the overall market. For this investigation implies that none of these strategies has not been in business del-SIM period (2008-2012) able to overcome yield market. In all calculated based invest-ment strategies loss. Overcoming yield market has been only in the short term, in 2008, the most successful strategy was published strategy based on exponential moving ave-rage. This result helped the financial crisis in 2008, which caused the market to become a loss in the amount of $ 1,978.44 (ie 39.6%) while the loss in busi-ness strategies were lower. Another positive year was 2012, when managed business strategies established by the oscillator Commodity Channel Index (CCI) and trend indicator Parabolic SAR outperform the market. In both business strategist-ICH achieve higher profits than the market return. The results in the long term and are consistent with market efficiency, which states that no created business strategy will deliver higher returns than the market itself.
