Nutritional recommendations for clients with alcoholic liver disease

Work is in its theoretical part focuses on the description of the traditional role of alcohol in the Czech population and its consumption. Czech Republic has long been the largest consumers of beer in the world, as well as the total consumption of pure alcohol per person to hold among the highest in the world. With high levels of alcohol consumption is related of course the risk of addiction. Although alcohol affects the whole body, from somatic damage is focused mainly on the liver. Due consumption may develop a wide range of illnesses, from mild forms such as hepatic steatosis to serious, life-threatening liver cirrhosis. Therapeutic procedures in alcohol liver disease are outlined at the end of the theoretical part. The cornerstone of treatment is abstinence, followed by other recommendations, which include stop smoking, or sufficient nutrition support. The practical part is focused on diet recommendations, which are designed for clients with alcohol liver disease. Specific recommendations are based on analysis of articles that were retrieved based on the specified criteria. It has been found that antioxidants have no significant impact on the treatment of these diseases. Lipid intake should ideally be around 30% of total daily energy intake. Differences in eating habits and frequency of food received by clients of therapeutic communities before and after the initiation of treatment of addiction

This thesis focuses on the eating habits of drug users. The aim of the study is to compare changes in eating habits among clients in therapeutic communities before entering into treatment with the subsequent state of eating habits in the first month of treatment and in the third month of treatment. Data were obtained in therapeutic communities completing food frequency questionnaires, which monitor the weight of clients and consumption of major food groups - grains, vegetables, fruits, dairy products, meat, eggs, legumes, sweets and tea. Questionnaires were administered immediately after entering treatment, to obtain retrospective information on eating habits before treatment. Clients completed the questionnaire after the first and third months of addiction treatment. Based on the analysis data obtained from the questionnaires, it was found that the average weight among treatment clients grows. Larger increases were recorded for the clients, women by an average of 2 points on a scale of BMI. The data show that consumption of commodities, cereals, fruit, dairy products and sweets among the periods before treatment, in the first month of treatment and in the third month of treatment decreased. Probation and rehabilitation programs for juvenile delinquents

The present thesis focuses on the phenomenon of juvenile delinquency. Attention is paid to influences and factors that influence the emergence of delinquent behavior in children and adolescents, and of course then the possibilities of justice and judicial response to this undesirable behavior in society. In the legal system of the Czech Republic, there is a separate piece of legislation that responds to the infringement of youth, it is the Law no. 218/2003. The Act represents a response options, and another dealing with children and juvenile offenders. In this Law is delimited the ability to store probation programs and cooperation with the Probation and Mediation Service, which intervenes and helps in dealing with infringements not only children and adolescents but also adults. Attention is paid mainly the form of options and probation programs that are provided by non-profit and non-governmental organizations to help juvenile offenders realize their behavior and above all to prevent recurrences. To illustrate the development of crimes committed by children and juveniles are attached overview tables, which indicate a decreasing number of crimes in the last 10 years.
