The Lighting of Liturgic Space
Jedličková, Veronika ; Přikryl, Miroslav (referee) ; Zdařil, Zdeněk (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the lighting of aisles, chapel and space under the chior in St. John the Baptist’s church in Frýdek-Místek. The thesis has two parts. The first part focuses on whole concept of lighting, also location of lighting fixtures and its impact on the overall space effect. The second part is the design of the luminaire, respecting the specifics of the space. The luminaire is also trying to satisfy the lighting requirements established by the local parish council.
Computer modelling of phase diagrams for complex alloys
Jedličková, Veronika ; Jan, Vít (referee) ; Kroupa, Aleš (advisor)
Binary Co-Sn system is modelled by Thermo-Calc software, which uses the CALPHAD method, one of the most frequently used method for theoretical modelling of phase diagrams and thermodynamics properties of simple and complex systems. New thermodynamic dataset based on experimental data is created for the selected system. The phase diagram contains all known and verified phases. The newly optimized dataset and mainly his topicality based on using the newest experimental data is very important, because the dataset will be included in large thermodynamic database SOLDERS, which is intended for modelling of systems suitable for development of lead-free solders.
Possibilities of removing lead and other harmful elements from waste from metallurgical processes
Jedličková, Veronika ; Kurka, Vladislav (referee) ; Čamek, Libor (advisor)
The work describes an overview of individual variants of processing and recycling of metallurgical waste. From the economic and especially ecological point of view, the possibility of landfilling this waste seems to be very unsatisfactory. Currently a considerable amount of material from previous production is stored in landfills. The presence of hazardous elements in this waste means a certain risk to the environment. Undesirable elements include Zn, Pb, Cd and others. In these experiments, changes in the chemical composition of blast furnace sludge were observed with a focus on changing the concentration of lead and zinc in the form of oxides. The sludge was heated in a rotary kiln to different temperatures and under different atmospheres. Lead oxide has been shown to be effectively removed in oxidizing atmosphere, while zinc oxide concentration is effectively reduced in reducing atmosphere.
Use of laser scanning head for surface hardening
Jedličková, Veronika ; Sigmund, Marian (referee) ; Mrňa, Libor (advisor)
The diploma thesis addressed the issue of laser surface hardening using dynamic oscillation of the laser beam. The theoretical part presents the hardening technology and suitable using of laser equipments. The fiber laser YLS 2000 was used in the experiment and the hardened material was steel 12 050, which is suitable for laser hardening. The influence of two selected parameters of the scan head on the resulting structure and hardness of hardening layers was examined. Based on the results, the choice of optimal parameters for identical conditions with the experiment was recommended.

Analysis of number lotteries
Jedličková, Veronika ; Pawlas, Zbyněk (advisor) ; Lachout, Petr (referee)
This bachelor thesis focuses on most well-known lotteries on the Czech market, in particular Sportka and Loto. Thesis observes many aspects influencing progress of these games. Winnning prices and lottery participant's expectations are examined. Total sum of these winnings is influenced by the amount of money in jackpot. Therefore, jackpot sum modelling and period between wins is taken into account. Moreover, expected period between two jackpot hits, distribution of drawn numbers and probability of drawing the same winning sequence is examined.
The life balance of Young Adulthood (Adult Age)
Jedličková, Veronika ; Janošová, Pavlína (advisor) ; Procházková, Jana (referee)
In my diploma work I tried to find and described what has happened with our society after the Velvet Revolution and if young adults are really different from the generation of their parents. This work has two main parts, theoretical and practical one. In the practical part I devoted to parenthood, marriages, education, employment and friendship. I also mentioned new prodigies like falling rates of fertility, prodigy of singles which were not common during the period before the year 1989. There is my research in the second part of my work which was carried out of sixty persons.
