Communication and public relations focused on protected areas in Southern Moravia

Abstract This work deals with communication and its kinds, communication with the public and marketing communication in relation to the forest, as a part of nature, to protected areas and their position in protection of nature. The aim of this Bachelor Thesis is to design a communication strategy and a communication mix of protected areas in southern Moravia for communicating with the public. Furthermore, the term of public relations and its life course are explained here. Another section of this work deals with selecting subjects from the region and with description of single selected protected areas in southern Moravia and their communications with the public. Through a questionnaire survey there are researched students at two secondary schools and there is found out how the protected areas are perceived by students. Interviews with the educators to find out their opinion on the matter are conducted as well. The Thesis uses the analysis of communication strategies of protected landscape areas and a national park. Relevant suggestions for improving communication are accepted based on the final results of the research.
Analysis of the marketing mix of a furniture dealer

The bachelor thesis deals with benchmarking focused on the marketing mix of a chosen subject, which is the Asko nábytek s.r.o. furniture dealer, and with important related subjects such as marketing, marketing mix, benchmarking and the SWOT analysis. This bachelor thesis is logically divided into an introduction, objectives and methodology, a theoretical part, a practical part, a discussion and a conclusion. In the introduction and in the chapter "Methodology of work" there is a summary of my reasons of choosing this particular issue, procedures used to get results and expected outcomes. In the theoretical part important concepts are defined and the practical part includes my own research. In the discussion I am trying to evaluate the results and in the last part there are my findings and conclusions.
Ecological organisations as forest owners – analysis of a contemporary state in the Czech Republic

Bachelor thesis Environmental organizations such as forest owners Analysis of the current situation in the Czech Republic deals with issues of forest owners, whose aim is often the mere nature protection. In the Czech Republic the issue of this protection of the nature lay mainly with landtrusts. The thesis aims to explore these subjects to determine the quantitative characteristics of new forest owners and focuses on objective analysis around the management of forest ecosystems. The theoretical part deals with new owners in neighbouring countries and in the Czech Republic. In addition, the thesis states how legislation affects forest owners activities in the Czech republic. The following chapter on landtrusts, which analyses how these associations were established, what is their purpose and current standing in the Czech Republic. A survey about landtrusts activities in terms of environmental protections is provided in the practical part. At the end of the thesis is a comparison between findings acquired from neighbouring countries and data summary gathered from landtrusts in the Czech Rep.
Business model canvas and its application in wood processing industry

This thesis deals with the creation of a canvas business model which is understood as a company strategy plan. Its structure consists of nine basic elements (customer segments, value preposition, chanels, customer relationship, revenue streams, key resources, key activities, key partners and cost structure), which must be interconnected in the way that they could bring significant values to the company and its strategy. The aim of this thesis is to apply this method canvas business model to a business subject operating in the wood processing industry and to suggest possibilities of innovation in the same company using the canvas model. The innovation should have the significant positive influence on the future development of the explored subject.
