Didactic Usage of Invasive Species of Trees in Education at Lower Secondary Schools

The diploma thesis focuses on the problem with invasive species of trees in teaching at the 2nd grade of primary schools. The main goal of this work is the research of natural at the second level of elementary schools with an emphasis on invasive tree species. As another goal, the author set himself to find out, using a suitably prepared pretest, the entry level of knowledge before the actual teaching of this topic. After completing the course, verify the acquired knowledge and compare it with the initial knowledge using the same posttest. Another goal of the work is to acquaint students, through appropriately chosen teaching methods and forms, with the topic of invasive trees that grow near their place of living. The student will become familiar with the basic features, invasive behavior, mapping and subsequent disposal of the selected invasive tree species. In this work, the questioning method is used, where the students, through pretests and posttests, answer questions that reflect the information contained in some textbooks of biology for the 2nd grade of elementary schools. The results in the research part were processed into tables and the data recorded in them were processed graphically for clarity. Design of Nature Trail in the Locatily Milská stráň near Bílichov Village

In the thesis, I propose a nature trail through the "Nature park Džbán" near the village Bílichov. I spent long time walking in this area and I really missed a nature trail there. I followed the paths throughout the Nature park, and now I tried to project the nature trail as I wanted to find it within this area. Aside from the formation of the trail I dealt with exploring the protected areas in the near neighborhood and especially some representative plant species that can be found there. Physiology of Plants in Elementary School Botany

This thesis on the topic "Physiology of Plants in Elementary School Botany" consists of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part focuses on a didactical analysis of the textbooks currently in use and integration of this topic in the valid curricular documentation. It also includes a research part, in which the possibilities of material visual aids used in science teaching are identified. The practical part makes use of these observations. A interactive CD, which includes worksheets on the main areas of plant physiology, has been created based on these observations. The worksheets are in educational text form, include gap-filling activities, and practical - with appropriate experiments. To these, methodology notes for teacher are supplied. Medow Plants in Drowing

The bachelor thesis deals with the artwork of scientific drawing, characterizes the individual types of scientific illustrations and describes the art techniques used in this field. It defines the relationship between the scientific and literary illustrations. The work focuses on botanical illustration, the development of botanical drawings in the 19th and 20th centuries and its future. It also deals with the specifics of botanical illustrations and procedures for the artistic processing of the plant masterpiece. In the second part of the bachelor thesis are described specific plant species, which are authored as their own example of botanical drawing.

Suburban park Bažantnice (Kladno) in Botany and Dendrology Instruction

The topic of this thesis is forest park's Bažantnice mapping. The thesis suggests the way of aplication of botanic terrain education. Botany and dendrology is one of the main educations question on elementary and secondary school. Park Bažantnice can be used in science lesson for its hight potential. The thesis i s divided into two parts. The first of them summarizes differents types of the terrain education and focuses on didactic using of the park Bažantnice. The second one deals with the station mapping and describes way of data colecting and adapting. Accompanying pictures and generated maps are included in appendiced at the back of the thesis. Botanical Illustration - Bryophytes

This diploma thesis deals with Bryophyta studies as a part of curriculum at primary schools as well as at lower and upper grammar schools. It determines the field of studies and the expected outcomes in the Human and Nature subject matter, it searches for the link between bryophyta and cross-sectional topics. The relation of pupil's key competences to bryophyta is being reflected, too. It compares the subject range of Bryophyta in school books. Furthermore, the thesis sums up the history of botanical illustration in the world as well as in our country, it inquires into basic rules of botanical illustration and line drawing techniques. The contemporary field guides are completed by the means of the research of students' books, popular and specialist literature and internet portals. Based on the theoretical part, this diploma thesis determines the teaching methodology of bryophyta drawing. The list of bryophyta, which are suitable for line drawings and usable as a teaching aid, is based on the practical part of this diploma thesis. 43 author's drawings with uniform measuring scale are attached.
