Construction of The GPS device
Hlaváč, Libor ; Macháň, Ladislav (referee) ; Šteffan, Pavel (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is a complete design and realization of a device that is able to communicate with GPS module iTrax300 and display the coordinates received from the module. The thesis deals with the GPS, localization principles and the standard communication protocol for navigation systems - the NMEA 0183 protocol. Futhermore it is dealing with the particular steps in the realization of the engineered device (from the specification of requirements at the beginning to the testing of its functionality in the end). The GPS coordinates, the Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), the date, the altitude and the speed on the ground can be displayed. There is also a possibility to put in any coordinates, the direction and the distance to the point are displayed afterwards. The device enables the track storage in the memory as well. The track is viewable while connecting the device and the PC through the USB interface.

THE INFLUENCE OF CONSOLIDATION PROCEDURE PARAMETERS ON COMPACTION OF AL POWDER
Lowe, T. C. ; Kunčická, L. ; Kocich, R. ; Davis, C. F. ; Hlaváč, L. ; Dvořák, Jiří
The influence of different consolidation procedures on compaction of Al powders was evaluated. Powder preparation procedures consisted of selection of particle size distribution, cold isostatic pressing (CIP), and vacuum sintering. Processing parameters investigated included the number of compression steps, compression pressure, and sintering temperature and time. Densities of the samples after compression and also after sintering were measured and compared. The overall oxygen content was analysed using by Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy. Phase composition was determined using X-ray. Microhardness measurements were performed to evaluate the degree of compaction. Double-step CIP at 200+300 MPa and subsequent sintering at 500°C for 60 min produced the best combination of properties from all the consolidation technologies of Al particles. Of the particle size ranges studies, those with diameters between 20 and 45 μm produced the best results. Aluminum oxide was present in the structure after all the processing treatments.
Specifics of Marketing in China
Hlaváč, Lukáš ; Štědroň, Bohumír (advisor) ; Skokanová, Dagmar (referee)
This thesis deals with the new trends and the specifics of marketing in China. The first part deals with theoretical knowledge of the marketing plan, specific applications of marketing in China and the particularities of the Chinese consumer market. The second part describes draft of marketing plan for the company IREC working in IT and Technology in Beijing. Detailed situational analysis including SWOT analysis is carried out. Based on this analysis, the marketing objectives are set and marketing strategies and action programs designed. The last part comprises of the financial plan and design of the control system.
Removal of degraded layer of concrete with an emphasis on optimizing surface before applying repair materials
Janurová, E. ; Pustelník, J. ; Mádr, V. ; Hlaváč, L. ; Bodnárová, L. ; Foldyna, Josef ; Hela, R. ; Sitek, Libor
The topic of the work is modelling of the process of disintegration of degraded layer of construction materials by high-speed water jet during their preparation for repair action. Destructive action of high-speed water jet on concretes of various qualities and corrosion damage degree was studied both experimentally and theoretically. The result of the submitted work is determination of methodology of classification degraded and treated concrete surface.
Comparison of Continuous High-Pressure Generated and Pulsing Low-Pressure Generated Water Jets on Concrete
Mádr, V. ; Sitek, Libor ; Hela, R. ; Hlaváč, L. M. ; Bodnárová, L. ; Pustelník, J. ; Janurová, E.
The concrete samples with various erosion states were disintegrated by pure continuous water jets generated from pressure 380 MPa in the Liquid jet laboratory at the VŠB - Technical University of Ostrava. Simultaneously, the identical concrete samples were tested by pulsing water jets generated by low pressure 30 MPa in the Department of Material Disintegration at the Institute of Geonics of the AS CR. The erosion states of samples were prepared by application of several laboratory techniques simulating the concrete aging under the natural conditions due to the real applications in practice. They were prepared at the 127 Institute of Technology of Building Materials and Components of the Brno University of Technology. The influence of the erosion state on the disintegration rate was tested and the surface topography was studied. The comparison of both the depth of penetration and the volume disintegration ratio regarding the input power is performed.
Determination of the surface topography after the maintenance by the high-velocity water jet tool using the digital photography technique
Janurová, E. ; Pustelník, J. ; Sitek, Libor ; Mádr, V. ; Hela, R. ; Hlaváč, L. M. ; Bodnárová, L.
The topic of the contribution is to study surfaces of degraded materials after repair preparation performed by high-velocity water jet, especially the pulsing one. There were set up the optimal parameters for recording and evaluation of surfaces before the application of repair materials in civil engineering on model materials with artificially prepared corroded layers. Destructive action of high-velocity water jet on concretes of various qualities and corrosion damage degree were studied both experimentally and theoretically.

Sitek, Libor ; Bodnárová, L. ; Foldyna, Josef ; Nováková, Daria ; Ščučka, Jiří ; Martinec, Petr ; Hela, R. ; Mádr, V. ; Hlaváč, L.
Examples of removal of surface layers of concrete specimen (exposed to action of various aggressive medium) by high speed water fan jets are presented in this paper. Experimental laboratory research was focused on utilization of pulsating water jets and their comparison to commonly used continuous water jets.
Interaction of laser beam with rocks
Hlaváč, L. M. ; Martinec, Petr ; Jančárek, A.
Interaction between laser beam and rocks was studied. Two types of laser beam was used in experiment. Continuous laser with high power and pulsing laser with low power.
