Quality of living of children and adolescents in a children's home

This thesis focuses on the quality of life of children and young people in a children's home. The aim of the thesis is to describe the lives of children in the observed children's home and to compare possible changes and development since their placement to the present. This description and comparison were made through the case studies of two selected boys. To supplement the information and strengthen this topic, an interview was conducted with the host. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part consists of several chapters that are subsequently related to the practical part. Here, I mention the history and current state of children's homes in the Czech Republic, types of children's homes, causes of children's placement in children's homes, children's needs, and developmental stages of children. In the last chapter, the literature review describes the CAN syndrome. The empirical part is focused on qualitative research methods. The research was conducted by observing and getting to know the operation and schedule of the home, its staff, and the children themselves. Vybrané vlivy působící na tržní produkci klisního mléka

This bachelor's work is focused on selected influences which have impact to the market production mare's milk. Work consists of two parts. First part is theoretic. This part is focused on composition of mare's milk. Within this part there was made mare's milk sampling and analysis. This milk was milked from breed Hafling. This part includes also influences which impact market production mare's milk. Monitored effects were order of lactation, feeding dose, season and breed. Second part deals with own proposal of the farm construction with mare's milk production. This part describes buildings which will be part of farm, especially stalls for breeding animals, milking house for mare's milk production and other buildings which will be used within riding club. Further there is characterized livestock which will be breed at the farm with focus on its breed. At the end the offered services and price list of this service are described. Within proposal there were carried out survey in the village Drnovice. Twenty-one families with children were interviewed. Interest in mare's milk and products made of this milk was evaluated on the base of this questionnaire.

The readiness of chosen kindergartens in the emergency planning zone of the Temelín Nuclear Power Plant

The thesis is based on the assessment of the readiness of staff in selected kindergartens in the emergency planning zone of the Temelín Nuclear Power Plant. Kindergartens associate a large number of young children who are dependent on the help of adults. Even in the event of a radiation accident, children will not be able to take care of themselves and will clearly be dependent on the help of teachers. For this reason the readiness of staff of this type of school facility in the emergency planning zone should not be underestimated. The aim of the thesis was to analyze the knowledge of staff in selected kindergartens (Dříteň, Zliv, Albrechtice nad Vltavou, Neznašov) in the emergency planning zone of the Temelín Nuclear Power Plant. For this purpose was established a hypothesis: "The knowledge of the staff of selected kindergartens in the emergency planning zone of the Temelín Nuclear Power Plant will be higher than 60 %." To achieve the set goal and to verify the hypothesis a questionnaire survey was conducted using a developed questionnaire. The questionnaire contained 19 questions, and total 55 respondents took part in the questionnaire. Then were the results evaluated using methods of descriptive and mathematical statistics. The hypothesis was confirmed that the knowledge of the staff of selected kindergartens is higher than 60 %. The arithmetic average of staff knowledge in selected kindergartens in the emergency planning zone of the Temelín Nuclear Power Plant was 61.47 %. I consider the current state of knowledge of staff in selected kindergartens to be sufficient, but the results showed insufficient knowledge in the areas of improvised body protection and iodine prophylaxis.

Health education in elementary school

Title: Health education in elementary school Objectives: The aim of this thesis was to create an educational manual for health education and its verification. Methods: In our thesis we used quantitative and qualitative methods of analysis and the method of comparison. We used a questionnaire as the quantitative method and for the qualitative method we interviewed selected students. We apllied the method of comparison in the evaluation of student's knowledge in pre and post questionnaires and in comparing the knowledge of 9th and 7th graders. Results: We discovered that 7th graders improved their knowledge and the greatest improvement was reached in the topics of self-conception and physical self- conception. Also we found that the knowledge of 7th graders are better than the knowledge of 9th graders. Keywords: body care, nutrition, self-conception and physical self-conception, physical activity.

The evaluation system for employees in the home with special regime

The dissertation deals with the issue of guest workers in the home with special regime. The work consists of a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with human resource management, as described in the literature. The essential question is to link a system of evaluation in the Organization, with the achievement of mission and objectives of the organization. The work focuses on the links between performance management and evaluation of staff. Further focuses on the evaluation criteria, the various forms and the methods of evaluation, and also on the assumptions and the skills of the evaluator, but also the assumptions of investigational agents, their ability to reflect on their work and the ability of self assessment. In the practical part of the thesis I introduce the organization, in which it is carried out of the investigation. In the framework of this investigation is carried out the analysis of the system of evaluation in the organization, whose aim was to find out what is the current status of the system of evaluation of employees in the organization and identify options for further development and to propose possible changes that will lead to the development of both the workers and the entire organization. The influence of stress and life satisfaction of chronic vulvovaginal candidiasis

1 SUMMARY In this study we are dealing with the effect of stress and life satisfaction on recurrent vulvovaginal candidiasis (RVVC). Vulvovaginal candidiasis (VVC) is one of the most frequent genital infections. It is hypothesized that 75% of women experience during their reproductive age at least 1 episode of VVC in their lifetime. RVVC can be defined as four or more attacks of symptomatic vulvovaginal candidiasis in 12 month period. The true incidence of RVVC remains unknown. Estimates over many years suggest that the incidence is approximately 5%; another recent study shows that the incidence is approximately 8% of women during their reproductive age. Our previous study suggests that the incidence is approximately 7.6%. There were elaborate questionnaires, including a questionnaire on life satisfaction and the level of vulnerability by stress, made for the purpose of this study. Each questionnaire consists of 17 pages and includes 49 questions. Full text of the questionnaire is showed in enclosure. Knowledge of population of retirement age in the field of protection in selected area in South Bohemian region

Every individual is daily threatened in his life whether with big or small events, without thinking about it. Based from this fact it is important to know recommended ways of behaving in these crisis situations. Population structure in Czech republic is various and we shouldn´t overlook the fact that Czech population is aging. There are people among us in retirement age, who have the same rights to be appropriatelly prepared for extraordinary events. Bachelor thesis is diveded in two parts basic parts, theoretical and research part. The theoretical part explains a characterizes the population protection, including a brief history population protection in Czech republic. Primary part of the theoretical work is about main tasks of population protection and about the integrated rescue system. Additionally the thesis is devoted to senior educational system. Senior education contributes not only to their autonomy, dignity a self-realization but also to full integration into society. The key of this thesis was to found awareness of population in retirement age in selected institution in city Zliv in area of population protection. It was also determined to found knowledge about basics of first aid . For establishing the knowledge of population in retirement age the questionnaire solution was used. The questionnaire was dived in two parts, first part included most questions regarding population protection area, second part owned several questions for orientation findings in basics of first aid. The questionnaire applied to seniors living in nursing home in Zliv, where 28 seniors took part in this survey. The purpose of this thesis was to increase the awareness of seniors in area, when their life, health or property could be in danger. For this purpose leaflet was created, that summarize basic knowledge of population protection and first aid, which was dedicated to all participants of the questionnaire investigation. Questionnaires were evaluated and graphically processed. Analysis of current state of population awareness in retirement age in nursing home in Zliv in area of population protection turned out that seniors have insufficient knowledge about this issue. There is also shown by this research, that seniors have relatively sufficient knowledge of first aid. We can also say, that the survey hasn´t recorded any tragic results, but also it hasn´t shown any high success rate. It will never be useless when people in postproductive age will be taken care in any case in improving awareness in population protection, first aid or in other problematics, because everyone in every age deserves to. Assumed use of this thesis could be as study material for professional and general public.

Use of Genetic Method to Read in the first Grade of an elementary School

This thesis deals with the issue of genetic method to reading in the first grade of an elementary school. The theoretical part is focused on the child's entry to school, their school maturity and further education. Other methods to read are presented, analysed and compared with the genetic method as well. Furthermore, the methods and ways how to put the genetic method in practice are pursued in detail along with didactical games and examples of teaching procedures. The practical part looks into the experience the teachers have gained with this method, the school success of the children and the opinion the family members have.

Návrh rodinné farmy zaměřené na chov koní a zpracování klisního mléka

This thesis describes the design of a family farm focused on horse breeding and ma-re´s milk processing. As part of this work is to develop a business plan for he proposed farm. This plan is also accompanied by a financial analysis of the proposed farm. Part of this thesis was the research focused on the solids content, titratable acidity, active acidi-ty, freezing point mare´s milk and how these technological characteristic affecting of the interim phase mares. Within the research focused was been tried and manufacture of yoghurt and icecream from mare´s milk. This research was carried out from April to September. Within the research were determined average values of 11,64 % dry matter, titratable acidity 3,85 °SH, active acidity of 7,47 pH, freezing point -0,553. The aim of the business plan will bet he establishment of an organic farm with breeding hucul, produ-ction and processing of mare´s milk. Secondary activites will be agroturism in which the farm will provide horseback riding. The total investment costs of the company are 13 016 824 Kč. Investment costs consist of the costs of setting up a company, purchase of land, construction of buildings and purchase of animals. The largest share of expendi-tures is the purchase of land in the amount of 10 375 274 Kč.
