The Suggestions for Improving the Operation of Professional Sports Club

The thesis analyses the current economic position of the football club HC Kometa Brno, a.s. (joint-stock company), including the analysis of motives and conditions for the sponsorship of the club. The primary task of this thesis was to create a theoretical description of the points at issue of marketing (or marketing mix), suggestions for improving the operation of hockey club, financial analysis sponsorship opportunities and consequentially their practical use.

The betting market in the Czech Republic is currently moving 10 companies that year, which annually divided among themselves more like 15 billion. One of them is the Startip, young and still growing betting agency. Target of this masters thesis is helping the company Startip to increase its market share, increase the quality of their products and to propose a summary of improvements in accordance with the requirements and the proposals formulated by betters in research made in collection of 224 respondents.

Evaluation of the Financial Situation in the Firm and Proposals to its Improvement

This diploma thesis deals with evaluation of financial situation of the company Antreg, a. s. between the years 2007 and 2012 and formulates suggestions for its improvement. First part of the work explains basic theoretical principles of financial and strategic analysis that will be used to elaborate the practical part. Second part of the work involves analysis of current conditions of selected company. This analysis is the basis for drafting of the third part which contains proposals and recommendations to improve current financial and business situation of the company.

Target of this bachelor thesis is helping the company Maxi-Tip to increase its market share, improve the quality of their products and to propose a summary of improvements in accordance with the requirements and the proposals expressed by betters in research made in collection of 238 respondents.
